  • does it work with castlevania 3? for what i know the first fc mobile does,nt work with that game.

  • the need to make fcmobile 3 build in recharge battery

  • I just got a this for christmas with zelda 1 and 2. And i do hqve to say that the screen is a little to bright. Also i am glad that the zapper for this doesnt make the spring sound when you shoot.

  • where did u get the converter?

  • I Got A Question. How Can You Play Gumshoe On A FC Mobile 2 With The Zapper

    Working?

P.S. I Always Play The Zapper games On My Original Funai TV

  • It Works Really Well Until The Batteries Are Almost Drained Out.

Then the Batteries Cause It To Make Problems For It Until All 4 Batteries Are Replaced.

    Pros: Impressive Sound Emulation,

    Does Not Cause Hand Cramps,

    Impressive Design,

Plays Every Game On NES And Famicon

Cons: Cannot Play Zapper Games On Portable Unless Hooked Up To A SDTV.

When Batteries Are Almost Drained, FC Mobile II Causes Glitches Unless It Is Hooked Up To The TV Or It Replaces Drained Batteries.

  • Do yourselves a favor and buy a GP2X Wiz and you can play NES, SNES, Genesis, Arcade, and much much more on one convenient SD Card. Don't waste your money on the retro mini!!

  • I want to know where to get the T-shirt he's wearing!

  • God I already get made fun of for playing video games and I am 25, could you imagine what they would say if I was lugging around that big pile of mess on the go LOL

  • this one is better then the fc mobile cuzz there is nothing standing in the way.

and the small crisp lcd screen makes everything looks like never seen before in such hich quality, absolutely incredible.

  • Please Help! I'm having some serious issues with my FC Mobile II, which is the same as the Retro Mini X. Some games which work fine on my real NES [Tetris, Mario 2, and the Duck Hunt/Mario cart] start up fine on the FC, but then get blurrier and blurrier, and often freeze, it looks like its circuit bending or something like that.

    Please Help!

I can upload a video so you can see EXACTLY what's happening. This worries me, I dont want to end up frying any of my NES games!

    Some assistance

  • cool hair...no i'm not Emo...

  • Is there a Version of the Retro Mini in Pal Format?

  • Comment removed

  • they need to put a build in battery

  • @RICANPAPY27 More like replaceable chargeble battery. if a built in battery fries up, you screwed.

  • cool, i wish i had hair like that. *sigh*

  • @116ryda we all do

  • so is this for NES games, SNES Games, or both

  • I'm gonna buy one of these for my birthday in a couple days, I must have it!

  • can the retro mini play snes games?

  • @zuchann

ofcourse not. this is a 8-bit handheld

check his vid on the SNES handheld

  • sorry, my little bro posted this xD

  • Hey mate, do you like the band "Flock of Seagulls"? :)

  • i do xD

  • does it have a headphone jack???

  • yes it does.

  • I seems as though everyone is saying that retro mini x and fc mobile 2 are the same thing, but on a web site they were listed for a price difference of 10 dollars. Does anybody know if they are definitely exactly the same besides the art on the Fc console.

  • @ppescidavid

    They are the same thing.

  • Can you play PAL Games on it?

  • @NagiSenseiZX

You'll have to buy the PAL version, I recommend stoneagegamer [.] com

  • get a haircut you douche!

  • hey,i got my retro mini x and it wont power on from charge via battery, can anyone help?

  • Comment removed

  • i think this system and it predecessor the original fc mobile are both worth the money, itz just so cool bein able 2 play ur nes games on the go

  • i need to find this system. i would imagine myself waiting to ride Epcot's Soarin (which is notorious for having a long line) and playing Shadow of the Ninja or any of the TMNT games

  • Okay I received this in the mail today, I tested the speakers they worked fine, but after I tested sound with headphones, the speakers now will not work. And yes I unplugged the headphones. I tried just about everything to get them working again but still nothing. Can anyone help?

  • Go to Disc Replay

  • To everyone who owns one of these: Is it worth the cash???

  • @SicSolution

Yes It is,Not only is it a good substitute for the NES,It's also portable,But It's super sensitive to Dirty Connectors in the cartridges. But still,Its a pretty impressive handheld.

  • I had the opportunity to play with one of these at a local play n'Trade and I have to say for the price I'm really not impressed. The sound it awful if turned up past 50% the screen has bad representation of the original graphics on a tv almost as if its skipping pixels and the overall feel is cheap plastic to where I would be afraid to take it out of the house. That being said it did play all the games i tested and the screen was very bright.

  • the speakers arent stero there dual mono

  • Captain Tsubasa. (soccer game)

  • does it play snes games why remake one and not make a snes player >=(...

  • it's too bad they don't send this to south america :(

  • I don't really get why the controllers are snes styled, I guess they're more comfortable?

  • Okay, okay, it plays NES games. But what I wanna know is, can you play 2 player games using the little screen? Like if you're on a road trip and you have a friend who wants to play with you, can you both use the wireless controllers on the handheld without having to hook it up to a TV? And is the Light Gun compatible with the tiny screen?

  • does it play all games

  • Apparently not, some older comments in this video mention that Castlevania 3 and other games don't work with it.

  • castlevania 3 only plays with the original nintendo

  • Not true, retro duo plays castlevania 3.

  • so it can it play castlevania 3

  • @camo234 i bet u watch irate gamer

  • It's great, too bad GameGenie doesn't work with it

  • is there a snes or n64 version of this

  • no, but i think there is snes of some kind

  • whats it called

  • i have no idea....

  • No such thing as a commercially made handheld snes--although there are a few people that have made one personally.

  • People make handheld 64's all the time, and I freakin' wish they would start selling them.

  • The patent ran out on the Nintendo, that's why you are seeing these other companies making these compatible units. I am hoping that means that we will see some of these in the SNES variety soon!

  • no there isn't n00b

  • the site doesn't work...

  • that a cs poster behind u?

  • does it play pal games

  • Good Review. I guess people on the east coast say it like "Super May-Rio"

  • not me, it kinda gets on my nerves when people say it like that.

  • great hair

  • do game geenies work?

  • yes

  • Good vid, but I still have a few questions:

How long do the batteries last? Are the wireless controllers RF or IR? How well do they work?

  • the batteries last a good 8 - 10 hours. overall i think it's awesome.

  • Does this come with an AC adapter? It looks like it does in the quick view we get of the plastic tray, but you never show it off.

Wireless NES on my TV would be sweet, but only if I can plug it in while I play.

  • Yes, this one comes with a AC adapter and works with batteries!

  • Does it play Reproduction games?

  • love his t-shirt!

  • uuuuh 60 bucks ^^

  • Pretty cool, though I still worry about what happens when the controllers break and not being able to plug in accessories...

Make a portable SNES and I'm sold!

  • @XSC3 there is a portable snes

  • @x41000 that's cool... a lot changes in a year! I think a portable system that could play both the original carts AND has an sd card slot for roms would be just awesome. most of the portable systems out there don't let you play the original carts, or have compatibility/sounds issues, or they don't let you play multiplayer

  • mystery box can be a sale item like a bag of crap on w00t!. Just random stuff.

  • Looks thicker than the first version. Still I want a SNES version of that.

  • So will this thing play a pal game on it's own or will you need a converter?

  • i have the 1st fc mobile and it's awesome! but i really want this 1 too!!!

  • Why isn't this channel a Youtube partner yet?

  • idk they said they have tried to contact youtube but didnt work

  • all vids need at least like 5k views or something I guess

  • sweet the newer version looks alot more smexy!

  • That's badass! I'm gonna go scout garage sales for old NES games now so I have a good selection to play when I buy one!

  • IM SO BUYING THAT

  • oldschoolfool~

what would it take for me to play a japanese ps2 game on my north american ps2? the only import game that i want is svc chaos: snk vs. capcom. yea i know it's supposedly not that good of a game, but it never came out on the usa ps2 and i wanted it...

  • go to their site and look at the ps2 section

  • mod ur ps2 or do what i did and buy a japanese ps2

  • that was a great game. But your actually better off buying the US gamecube version and getting an X-Arcade stick and gamecube adapter. You can play it on your wii. it wont require any shinaniginry

  • I'm oldschool fool!!!!!

  • wow...is that actually real>?

  • whats the backround music??

  • This bothered me for a bit while watching the video, but I think it's a rendition of music from one of the stages from River City Ransom

  • You are correct sir!

  • man that's the best news ever XD

  • Oh oh I know that game it's Captain Tsubasa

  • Looks pretty awesome. Cool video.

  • mario did not work on the first one does it work on this one

  • is that player new?

  • is there something like this for Snes games

  • where? where? WHERE?

  • There was something I saw called the Nexus and looked like the Retro Mini version 1 and it played NES and SNES

  • Phonda's Dad owns this system. He is really happy with it and his wife Soula also enjoys playing on this system.

  • Does it work with castlevania 3?, most clone systems do not work with that game or have problems running it.

  • Nope, once again the elusive CV3 does not work!:(

  • Please answer the following question and give only 1 response:

How do you enjoy your meats?? Hot, Cold or Lukewarm?

  • The controllers look like Snes controllers.

  • That Famicom game is called Captain Tsubasa, it's based off the popular Anime :)

  • I have one and it's pretty fuckign amazing. Mines the ugly white one though. I wish I had a sexy black one.

  • cool, can u image people playing this on the bus lol

  • Thats what Im gonna be doing on the 4th

  • dude i want 1

  • awsome

  • looks fucking sweet

  • is it a mystery?

  • nice.u can play on it nes games and it gas 2 controllers.and a gun

  • seems like a ds and a flashcard is a better deal, but this is still cool

  • Cool
