Was lucky enough to meet elizabeth at several conventions over the years to do with dr who and she was MY childhood heroin ... the world of science fiction has just lost one of its greatest time travelling characters and the fans of Liz Sladen and indeed the fans like myself who met her and became aquainted a little with her will miss her very much....well here's to you Liz and thanks for the childhood memories. Now you have all of time & space to youself to explore. RIPx

You know, Whilst I will say it is a good Spin Off Show.

For this trailer, I think that it would have been more epic if the Doctor only appeared or gets mentioned at 2:22.

That way, After all the Build Up with just Sarah Jane, The Viewers can have their Fan-Gasm with the Doctor randomly storming in, to stop Another Wedding.

At least, That's what I would have done if I was editing the Trailer.

Don't know about the actors. But in the series: Maria's dad got a new job in America, so dad and Maria moved to America. Maria's mom stayed (and knows about Mr.Smith and sontaran) but isn't again. Maria and her dad did appear again in the episode 'Mark of berserker'. She mentioned in couple of episodes and seems to hide aliens from the goverment.
