@heathmd83 actually trace adkins recorded it first but did not release it , jamie johnson co-wrote the song and release it....so jamey's would i be the orginal........ get your facts straight..

@t4ford1 First, learn to spell MORON. Second, Trace Adkins was originally supposed to record the song but when Jamey Johnson approached him and asked him if he could use it since he co-wrote it with James Otto, Trace gave him the song and let him record it. If you did your research you would know that Johnson released In Color in March of 2008 and Trace didn't release X until November 2008. So Johnson's version was the original.

Check your local event locations, guys. Jamey and Kid are doing some shows together. I know they are in IL in February. I just saw Jamey last night. Well worth paying for! Jamey is awesome. I saw Kid back when Devil Without a Cause came out. Great performer as well. Will be an awesome show!

@cookie & brown.....not many people on the planet can capture emotion the way Jamey does...however, I'm sure you agree when I say the amazing thing to me is that the same guy who did songs like "Bullgod" thought to do a piano version of this song in his show. The main thing I love about Kid Rock is that he is known for showing respect to those in the buisness (past & present) who deserve it. Jamey falls in that category for sure. Great song and great performance. Thanks for posting. BIG FAN!
