    put in one banana, a large spoon of peanut butter, milk and small chocolate chips in the blender.

    Its really good.

  • I have the vanilla muscle milk also , but i didn't use milk i had pina cola mix with it does dat help??

  • I'll def. try the Muscle Milk.. I thought it was only for like big burley men... but funney thing is I "started" working out 2 weeks ago and fatigued my whole body cause of the weight lifting, and didnt want to run... anyhow I figured that if I had to choose 1 it would running, but I'll give the muscle milk a try (only cause you recommmend it) becuase I know it's definately crucial to build muscle as you go! THANKS your really helping people INCLUDING ME, and I appreciate it!

  • Lets get things clear, muscle milk contains MGs which harm your brain cells.

    Secondly, do not drink light, it can cause cancer.

    Just use natrual whey isolate protein, and if you have to put on some fat, get some extra carbohydrates.

    Since making this video (6 months ago) I have switched to eating all non-processed, organic, mostly vegan/raw foods. I take good care of my insides now ;)

    It's only just come out that MM has MSG... I don't know how I feel about that. The news spread like wildfire.

  • just to be more clear with what I was saying before

    -a protein supplement should NOT make recovery faster/better. why? because what you are doing the other 23 hours in a day is what should be producing results. adding a scoop of powder, without changing anything else, is like trying to piss on an asteroid. I promise you the "better recovery" is in your head. just like every other 16 year old guy just getting into GNC products. i scoop of powder is negligible in the big picture.

  • if protien powder speeds up recovery, your diet is lacking and or its in your head.

    I feel whole food protein speeds up metabolism better via thermogenesis.

    and lastly- imo eating tissue and eggs, complex fats and omega 3's is the most anabolic item in existance.

  • Question: I want to lose weight while maintaining and even building some strength: do protein supplements increase or maintain weight, slowing or preventing wt.loss?

  • You will lose less "weight" but you will lose fat. Muscles add weight fast if you'e body-building, so the scale may stay rather level while you go on with weight lifting an so forth. However, added muscle will increade your metabolism and you'll burn more fat, especially the longer you stay with it. But as for protien shakes actually ADDING weight, I think that's a no. :)

  • protein powder is a "supplement". nutrtition and exercise, and lastly genetics will cause changes. protein powder and the postworkout drink is 1.00% of the bigger picture.

  • my cousin had some of this at his house cuz he's like a crazy body builder freak. i might have to try this stuff. where do you get it?

  • I buy it at Seattle Supplements, but GNC or any supplements store should carry it in multiple flavors :)

  • I've also noticed how my protein drinks ward off pain. I didn't drink it one day after weights & I was miserable for the next week.

    I wasn't a big fruit eater until I got on this health kick. For example, I never liked strawberries before. My smoothie right now is Orange juice, pineapple, & strawberries. The Tropicana Light & Healthy OJ is only 50 cal for 8oz. It makes me feel like I'm really treating myself.

    youtube the name jay cutler and ronnie coleman. theyse guys dont take in post workout drinks or use protein powders guys.

  • yes they do ofcourse.......i watch the "huge post workout of ronnie coleman" and i think he mentioned that it contains 300 grams of protein

  • Ronnie coleman is also under contract and is just advertising. Just like jay cutler gains "14.6 pounds of lean mass in just 3 weeks using cell tech"

    bottom line, nobody knows for sure. But I promise you, whole food is always the better choice and what gets things done

    again, if 20-30 grams of protein from muscle milk helps your recovery, you got problems.
