  • I don't have a SUMP so basically all the live rock I have is inside the main tank. All the live rock in the tank is too big to take out, and too risky because my shrimp + fishes hide in there. Basically, I'm having trouble mounting the coral because I have to put the Krazy Glue on the coral and stuff it onto the rock before the glue dries (Because the water is an accelerant). So what I'm trying to say is can you show me how to mount with the rock already in the tank? Thank you and, Kenya Tree.

  • @hudacheck Put a glob of glue on the coral base and place it on the rock while it is in the tank. Hold it there for maybe a minute and it will most likely stick. Try for a spot that's a perfect fit though. Though it doesn't hurt to ask for a small piece of rock from the fish store when buying the coral initially.

  • kenya tree coral

  • What kind of salt do you use? My tank has had a brown algea outbreak. I think its the salt. I kinda noticed it is the type of salt I changed to. Good video. How can I control brown algae? ?? Email at elchocolate707@gmail.com thanx!

  • @elchocolate707 All about water quality when it comes to algae. Not salt brand. Try to use RO water. Did this and immediately got rid of any hair algae. Brown algae usually comes from over feeding and high nitrates.

  • Had to get rid of puffers as they went after my shrimp. Forgot they weren't reef safe. It was the shrimp or the puffers to stay. Kept the shrimp.

  • Looks like A colt coral.

  • Do you still have your Spotted Puffers? I had mine in a 125 gallon reef tank for a year and a half. One got caught in a maxi jet while I was out of the country. The other seemed to die after that. They were very active and I became quite attached although they did eat snails and fancy shrimp.

  • leather

  • so u just leave the rubber band on and what kind of glue do u use

    and nice tank

  • what are live rocks?

  • @dheemahit

    Basically fossils of old coral.

  • @lexdiamond20

thnx man!how much time do they take to form?i dont suppose any millions of years likr ordinary fossils right?

  • @dheemahit

It probably may be that long. But we only have bits and pieces in our tanks. The oceans are filled with millions of tons of the stuff and its basically protected by the government. We only gets chips that fall off.

  • y do u have a puffer ina reeef tank u must be newat this!

  • kenya tree

  • Nice vide man!

  • I'm dizzy now.

  • Dipping the glue slowly makes it cure. This video is extremely painful to watch.

  • I just keep tupperware for small pieces and after you glue it place it in the water and give it a min or two. After that its cured more than enough to place in the tank.

  • 04:11 lol =D

  • God you are bumbleing...

  • your losing frags because of your salinity . in the puffer vid you say your at the low end and most lps , sps , and acros like to be around 1.024 - 1.0255 with a high range ph and zero nitrates /nitrites. and you'll have better success with a little more speed too. great videos and keep it up .

  • hey what if my rock i want to attach the frag to is tooo big, then how do i mount it to the rock?

  • Havent tried it you but I know you can use underwater epoxy to attach them to large rocks in the tank. Only problem is removing them to frag.

  • @medasst100 Put a blob of crazy glue gel on the frag, put frag on desired rock hold for 25 or 30 seconds or so, done.

  • call the store you got the coral from to get the acurate name of the coral, they should have that info.

  • kenya tree coral i think

  • Nice video. Any chance the puffer conversion video will be up soon?

  • some mushroom corals would look good in your tank.

  • Little hard to tell, but it looks similar to my finger leather, only smaller.

  • grate vido hay do you now if snils eat corline alge becuse all of mine is gone in a small spot where a snail is

  • Yes, certain snails do eat it.
