June 1948 Begin and Galili signed an agreement for the absorbtion of Irgun (terrorists) into the IDF. Irgun's political arm was the predecessor to todays' centrist Likud party of which Netanyahu's PM. Israel was created through terrorism, and only survives to this day on it. Why do you think they have always demanded people recognize their "right to exist"?, becuase even they know they have none.
The Messiah did not end the Disporia, an atheist did, yet they followed....
Yep Israel made a mistake that cost the lives of IDF soldiers, they should have nuked the place. People in Gaza wanted war, they voted for Hamas, enjoy your vote! Nuke the whole place and turn it in to a parking lot for tanks.
so what? enemies should be treated as enemies. Israel is too soft to its enemies- it had to destroy Gaza completely just as revenge for what those arabs do and did to Israel. The mistake of Israel is they did not kick out the arab occpier of their land right away after 67. And- all the haters that are going to answer me now: go to hell, I cannot care less about your hipocrite opinin
This is a very well researched but ultimately futile voyage into the minutiae of international 'law'. If Israel removed the illegal blockade from Gaza, stopped occupying Gaza, allowed Palestinians self-determination and opened relations with a democratically elected government then maybe they could begin to occupy the moral high ground... as opposed to the physical high ground which they occupy now.
@whypatcondellisntfun Without going into specifics i urge you to visit mbrown0315's channel (/user/mbrown0315) and see some of his vids. he does a great job in explaining the situation in a very balanced and researched way. i would also like to point out that the blockade is not how it is represented in the media. For instance in April 1st alone: 168 trucks with 4,497 tons of aid + 32 Int. org. members entered Gaza, as well as 4 patients entered Israel for treatment.
@Joniversity The fact that we all know that there is an illegal blockade means that I won't be applauding Israel when it deems it fit to allow what is international aid(!) into Gaza. When I hear that Israel places limits on the food - rice is classed as aid, but pasta is not and so not allowed - it allows through, and when I hear that Israel steals water supplies from Gaza, and when I hear that Israel only allows 8 hours of power before turning power of for 8 hours again, then I'm not impressed
@whypatcondellisntfun "we all know that..." well you know what you think you know and what you want to believe is true according to your views, i won't however try to confuse you with facts anymore. Secondly the mere fact the Israel is providing ANYTHING to a quasi-state controlled by an enemy regime that calls out-loud for the destruction of Israel amazes me, and amazes me even more that people actually complain Israel is not giving their enemies enough!
@Joniversity My views on the illegal blockade are supported by facts. There is a wall built around Gaza and only those things which Israel and Egypt deem fit to allow make it through that wall. No civilian aircraft can land in Gaza as Israel destroyed the civilian airport. No boats can get to or from Gaza as Israeli warships patrol the seas off the coast and illegally fire on civilian fisherman if they stray too far from the mainland.
@whypatcondellisntfun Well actually the wall is being built around the west bank in direct response to the suicide and terror attacks of the 90s-00s. The only wall in Gaza is the one being built by Egypt, because of smuggling of weapons and terror attacks on Egyptian soil. And again any transport coming into Gaza has a potential of both bringing in arms into Gaza and strengthen the illegal regime of Hamas which massacred Fatah forces (continue...)
@whypatcondellisntfun (continued) It was such fishermen boats that released the booby-trapped devices which landed on the coasts of Israel just a few months back and that could have potentially killed a multitude of Israeli civilians, and what you fail to grasp, or simply ignore because of your views is that Israel and Hamas are in a state of war and as long as Hamas calls for the destruction of Israel and Israel MUST do what ever it can to defend itself, from rockets, suicide bombers, etc.
@whypatcondellisntfun So to conclude - for some reason you won't admit, understand or recognize that Israeli "wrong-doings" are reactionary acts to the constant terror threat from Hamas and other radical Palestinian and Muslim forces. Until you acknowledge that you will see Israel as the bad-boy in neighborhood which simply constitutes bigotry and self righteousness.
@whypatcondellisntfun And anyway, your historical context is very narrow. Even if Hamas is calling out for the destruction of Israel, why has Israel continually passed up chances for peace? What happened to the Oslo accords? They were signed with PLO, not Hamas! It is precisely because Israel did not keep it's promises that Hamas support grew. Why would Palestinians vote for Fatah if the actions of Fatah never gained them anything in the past?
@whypatcondellisntfun Both the Israeli side and the Palestinian-Arab sides have passed numerous chances for peace, to name a few reasons: on the Palestinian side some of it due to Iranian influence, Muslim dogma, the phased plan and lack of leadership, on the Israeli side - American influence, Jewish messianic groups and lack of leadership too. Again you decide to have a one-sided view which will lead us nowhere.
@whypatcondellisntfun The Oslo accords lead to the worst terror attack Israel has ever seen - suicide bombers exploding in buses, cafes and nightclubs and thousands of rockets- all secretly backed by Arafat and committed by both Fatah and Hamas militants. The only reasons Hamas got any votes was because of the corruption of the PLO and the religious indoctrinated Palestinian population. Hamas did not not gain anything more than the PLO - both have committed crimes against their own people.
But these 0:21 are NOT phosphorous shells to begin with Joni. Phosphorous shells are designed to explode when they hit the target and spread great amounts of phosphorous around.
What u see in that video CLEARLY are small pieces of felt soaked in phosphorous - parts of smokescreen munitions which didnt burned up in the air like they're supposed too.

Hamas is the fruit of Israels' own arrogance.
