Thinking about donating mine :) My hairs is very thick and long im sure someone would love all this hair haha. Im going to grow it out till the summer i think cuz i dont want short hair it would look bad on me lol.. Its a bit past my boobs lol...when its straight..my hair grows fast too

Don't think we have anything like hair donation here, so sadly most of her hair was probably swept up and put in the bin - it was quicker and easier for her hairdresser to pull her hair into a pony tail to cut off in one go and as my gf wanted a change she was all up for her ponytail coming off anyway - not sure I was, but i do love her short hair and she has no regrets either.
I'm a guy, so can I donate my hair or is this for women only? My pubic hair gets extremely long, like long enough that I braid it. I was thinking instead of throwing it away when I trim it, I could grow it out and donate the braids to locks of love. I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there who like curly hair, so it would work out perfectly.

@rick92rr If that's true, it's a shame. However, I'm not really in the "hair selling" business, so I couldn't get anything out of my old hair anyway. Might as well give it to someone who wants it. I would have just swept it up and thrown it away anyway. :)
Please do research about hair donation because most of the hair is sold so you never know where your hair ends up with this organization. Lots is even thrown away!

@devildevil444 I'm not sure what you mean. The way we cut it was the most effective way to get the minimum 10" for Locks of Love first and leave the most hair for us to play with and cut into a style for me later. Had I buzzed by head, I could have gotten another 5" or so, but I wasn't quite willing to do that. Haha. Most people just pull it back into one ponytail and cut it, but then Locks of Love can't use any of the pieces that are shorter than 10".
@JennBurgessFit Haha yeah, back then it didnt seem like nothing, since it was the very first time I ever had my hair cut my whole life. But today, it would be crazy for me, cause my hair has stayed pretty short since high school. I keep saying im gonna grow it out again, but I doubt it'll ever happen haha :)
