The stupidity of the supporters of those laws is beyond any possible imagination. In EVERY debate about the gun laws the gun supporter shows to have zero brains on the matter and usually ignore the crime facts. If you watch the debate between Larry w/e and Maarten van Rossem or the discussions in Bowling Columbine you can easily notice how clueless the gun supporters actually are. One only has to study the grammer of english to understand that a dependent clause like "a well regulated militia being necesary to a free state" cannot govern (cannot be an in then condition) to the independent clause that follows "the right of the people...shall not be infringed."

The idea of using firearms to stand up to this government is, frankly, absurd. Nobody can afford the technology that the government has, and even if they did it would be illegal. So, I believe in setting yourself up for total breakdown of society, and guns are crucial in protecting your property and hunting. Meaning, although it is a good argument in historical theory, I don't think it is a viable one. Our military may not attack us, but an imported one, or perhaps the Obama youth, will.

People don't seem to realize how expensive it is to maintain an armored division or a flight of aircraft, or a fleet of ships. We only have 22 B-2 stealth bombers in existence because they each cost 1 billion each!
