I agree with what your saying but the quote of John paul ll is being taken out of context unless you have more info..I'm not being nasty, so don't think that...In the Catholic religion, in our bible we are told to go to priests to repent not just talk to god ourselves to repent...i don't know what religion you are..but if you didn't know that, that's probably what he was saying unless there's more info to the quote.
