This film is fantastic. Salieri's role was superb. Mozart and Salieri were indeed close in age. I think Salieri might have been forced to poison him by the illuminati because Mozart was giving away too many secrets embedded in his music. I read this theory when I found out Mozart was a Mason. Too many secrets...not too many notes.
