  • STILL sounds better than Bieber.

  • this is probably the worst type of "singing ever" throat singing chops this.

  • This has more of a right to be considered music than any given song on any radio station on the planet.

  • Aaah, I remember seeing this ages ago... memories

  • I like the applause afterwards lol

  • This is just too beautiful for words to describe *teardrop*.

  • Did I actually hear applause at the end?

  • This is inspiring.

  • RIP headphone users.

  • 0:17

    Aaaand PELVIC THRUST!

    WOOOOOOO!

    WOOOOOOO!

  • ashens... thanks buddy >_>

  • is this awsome in japan o.o?

  • i think the mic was trying to rape him...

  • Thank you Eye.

  • That's a sweet orange shirt.

  • horrible

  • at 0:20 he made all the ladies at the first row pregnant

  • This is possession

  • ryan hill?

  • Dammmmmn, I wonder how his orgasms are like... o.0

  • THUMBS UP FOR RANDOM SEIZURES!!!

  • not for the closed minded.

  • Funny thing is at the end he thanks the audience.

  • gayyy

  • I like the part in the middle the best.

  • better than miley cyrus !!!

  • @presman585

Don't compare Eye Yamatsuka with this disney piece of shit!

  • Oh so this is why I don't listen to noise.

  • Ravage of drugs ....

  • My god is Eye a ball of energy

  • How can the audience remain so still and silent? Hantarash always make me want to jump onto the stage and punch Yamatsuka in the face until I collapse from exhaustion. I adore his Hanatarash works (the Boredoms are a wholly different affair), it makes me feel so uncomfortably aggravated.

  • RANANANANAKA RANARANASAOUR RUSHHOE RUSHHOE RUSHHOE MUMUMUUMAAA MUUMUUMAAAA UGHUHUGHUGHUUGHA AAAAAAAAOOOOW AAAAAAAOOOOOW AAHW HU AAHW HU AAHW HU AAH AAAAAAAUUUUUUUU AUGHAUAUAGHAGH DEEEEEEE DEEEEEEEE RAAAAACKAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RAAACKAA RAAACKAA WAWAWAWAWAWAWAAAAAAA WAWAWAWAWAA WHAAAAAAAA WHYYYYYYYYYY
  • @DoTheAstralPlane lyrics?

  • Fun to watch, shit to listen to.

  • That's rubbish!!!!!!!!

    Vaya basura

  • @alesibanez noo, es grandioso, los black eyed peas son basura

naaa, is brilliant, the black eyed peas is rubbish!!!!!

  • i had that same reaction as a kid when a doctor tried to give me a needle shot

  • sounds better than black veil brides

  • I like the part when he says "HAAGIOGIEAINAIHAFHEI" thats my favorite *-*

  • Wow. I will never make fun of Nine Inch Nails for being "just a bunch of noise" again.

  • Taking influence from someone is no reason to fuck a person.

  • What the fuck am I watching.

  • *modest clapping* Japan has the most pretentious hipsters on the face of the earth.

  • @Razer2mb man, if somebody just unleashed all their anger for my entertainment, i, for one, would give an applause louder than the performance itself.

  • @Razer2mb - Why is this pretentious?

  • gave me goosebumps

  • Dudes... Mike Patton recalled HANATARASH as inspiration for Adult themes for voice... dude... this is so fucking MP... he got really inspired by Hantarash

  • Fuck Mike Patton.

  • @eastcoastchildren

    FUCK YOU

  • Comment removed

  • WTF is this guy having a spaz/heart attack? hanatarash sounds like a type of mixture of ice cream and salad...

  • Oh, I love this song.

  • How old?

    ITS AWESOME!

  • I think he's either bat shit crazy. Or taking the piss out of the fact that he can pretty much pull of any shit and people will like it.

  • Comment removed

  • and that's how I gave birth to Family Guy

  • I'm glad it was short

  • Okay.

  • *takes off glasses* My god what is this masterpiece...

  • *sits up and starts clapping slowly* It's the sound.... of butterflies and rainbows!

  • @masterfox3000 this may be the best comment i have ever read on youtube. thank you so much

  • Hanatarash is die geilste band überhaupt

Der Eye Yamatsuka oda Eye Yamanataka

    mit seinem screaming!

    einfach nur geil!!! ;-)

    Ober wo is Mitsuru Tabata?

    Where is Mitsuru Tabata?

  • did he like do a two hour-show like that?

  • fucking awesome!

  • 0:33

  • i like the polite clapping at the end

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME, WOW, GREAT

  • Actually, letting go of ones mind while performing music is extremely expressive and liberating.

  • It's because you really don't get it. Noise is a highly emotional output, and possibly only the person who is creating it understands what they are trying to convey. It's like trying to decipher a poem or piece of literature, while you may be able to come up with some kind of meaning from the imagery and symbolism they are creating, you can never truly understand what is going on in the artist's head

  • @conchettas lol 'decipher' noise

  • actually, i'm writing from hungary, and there isn't any sand toad. it's really sad, the sand toads might be very cute animals. what a shame...

    i miss them.

    i miss your heterosexuality too.

  • I fear that you've already made up your mind.

  • Yeah. You have a point about this song being about nothing and blah blah blah. But think about if there was a song about the extinction of sand toads in Hungary. That song would be fucking stupid. I sometimes think of noise music as a reaction to all of the crappy pop music that we've ever been forced to endure over time. That's what half of all art is anyway is a reaction to the other half.

  • You're of course entitled to your opinion. But honestly I'd just say you don't get it.

  • ZA WARUDO!

  • There is no god

  • But there is Eye Yamatsuka. And that is perfectly close.

  • TAKE BACK YOUR PENIS

  • such a nice boy..he loves his mum..

  • ur a gr8 aritst

  • Yes yes yes yes yes bulldozers cats

  • What a pleasant guy

  • I love this guy

    i bet hes frikken hott!!

  • Was that serious? I thought it was a joke at just how excessive he was being in front of other people, but then they started clapping.

  • I believe the excessiveness you are referring to is called 'performance'.

  • My ass has just been kicked.

  • Eye Yamatsuka killed God with his voice! :)

  • whoops i was ment to click the thumbs up i have a bad aim shame on me

  • How do his vocal chords survive 30+ years of this... It's beyond me.

  • Hahahaha.

    Nice.

  • This guy kicks some ass. Your ass and mine.

  • Está re loco

  • 凄い・・・

  • what he said...

  • godly, i got a chance to meet the BOREDOMS on the lotsofpoorlosers 94' tour, although i was there to see BOREDOMS and GEORGE CLINTON it was fucking great!!! EYE rules!!!

  • is Hanatarash just eYe by himself? I am confused cuz everything I've read bills it sorta as a band but then every video I see it just shows him I don't understand . . .

  • hes the front man, there are other people, but hes the main attraction

  • well obviously he's the front man lol anyway thanx for the help

  • There have been various other live members in the lineup, but eye is the creative core of it all. Also, eye always records on his own and he admitted that many of the live members were often there simply for his protection.

  • the hump of death!!

  • People still watch this?

  • ahaha so funny

  • Just have to say that I'm open to new types of music, but this doesn't seem like it would take much skill. I mean when he sticks the mic in his mouth as starts screaming? Seems like what would happen if you gave a mic to a small child.

  • talent has nothing to do with it.

child-like innocence, in a musical way, maybe?

  • Yeah, if you ask the people in the band they'll readily admit they don't have any conventional training. If you're looking for technical proficiency try Yngway Malmstein, Joe Satriani, and the lead guitar player for Nitro (Michael Anthony Batali? Or something like that.) They're all solid. Beethoven would also work.

  • you're missing the point though, regardless of whether you like it, it's not done as a talent show. if you look at music as a form of art then it becomes clearer - mark rothko paints stuff that a 4 year old could probably make, but he has the vision to make something that while not technically good, really affects people. this is exactly the same and to me, feeling and emotion are more important than technical ability. dire straits are more skillfull, but fuck they're boring as hell

  • I <3 U for that post.

  • thank you - i forgot i even made it haha, that's what getting drunk and listening to hanatarash does to your memory....

  • FREEDOM !

  • Stop talking like you want everyone to know you browse 4chan. That alone doesn't make you awesome like you seem to think. I'm tired of this epic/fail/lulz bullshit people spew out at every opportunity.

  • Note: Lurk moar, and never EVER post ANYWHERE again. When was the last time 4chan did anything worth hating them for? Anon is dead. And you killed him.

  • hanatarash is one sick motherfucker

  • This is amazing.

  • You're just scared because it's different. It's ok, most people are too weak minded to enjoy this.

  • truth

  • yes.

and apparently someone has takend a close listen to the Locust or seen them live.

  • mmmmmmm

    mmmmmmm

what can i say?, im really into avantgarde stuff and inovation, originalty and whatever, u know. but this was.......music?... dont think so.

im not saying this is bad [nor good] but is not definitely music, i doubt is even intended to be calleed music so dont say it is..

yea is a form of expression blabla whatever, but not music

  • dude how are you "really into avantgarde stuff" but you've never heard of noise music?

  • who said i havnt?, i just dont see the point of calling this stuff music

  • a G chord on an acoustic guitar probably couldn't have expressed what he was feeling the way harsh feedback from a mic and some distortion pedals could.

  • absolutelly right

  • Noise isn't music, it's not supposed to be. Noise is noise. It's art to do it deliberately.

Don't try to compare noise art with conventional music. They are two different things.

    (insert typical youtube hate)

  • Well that at least makes a little sense, as long as it's supposed to be noise and not music.

  • Doesn't necessarily make it good noise either, though.

  • i agree, this is not good noise. this just make me want to inch away slowly.

  • wow... what a plunker

  • haha I love this music and just about anything Eye's been involved with, it's all real cool and groovy. If you don't like it right off try getting neurotic high, plugging in a guitar and turning it up all the way, and then start screaming your ass off. It's the best.

  • i am really concerned about myself because in some way i did like it!but i still dont know if i should(this music makes you thing in a totaly differnt way...ha...ok.)

  • Or maybe people are just interested in different things than you. I am not going to defend Hanatarash like it is some serious piece of art but I find it interesting because I know Eye is capable of making beautiful music (and some Hanatarash is actually very good).

  • how is listening to something that most people have never even heard of conformist?

  • Haha love this particular stupid comment. Seen it a million times before, shame you couldn't think of your own original opinion.

You don't personally like it, so it's IMPOSSIBLE that anyone could, right?

  • hah typical, but people usually ridicule what they don't understand/fear. I wonder why it "scares" him ahah

  • good word choice retard. you know what i think is bullshit? restricting yourself to only going to shows where they play the same boring 12 notes in different patterns over and over.

  • That can be good, too... Depends on what you want at the time. I, personally, enjoy quite a bit of electronica, despite it's rather repetitive qualities. At the same time, I love this stuff for it's power. It's like DaDa poetry meets death metal in a battle to the death... In a meat grinder! (Did that make sense?)

  • Good Answer.

  • es un monito, un chimpancé, yo también, pero él más, aunque debe ser bastante agradable gritar así delante de harta gente, pero no le encuentro mucho toque artístico.... porque si esto es arte.. .. ... ..

  • ¡Éste ES arte!

  • bermuda shorts.

  • you meant:

    exciting, fulfilling and meaningful

This is art. It's a great stress-reliever as well as a speaker buster. Believe that!

  • best thing since opera

  • Long live the LIVE Performance!

  • FREE the music FREE art, goddammit!

  • hahahahahaha

    now that is a performance!!!!!

  • I wonder what the audience was thinking when they saw this. If this was a rock concert, eYe or Eye would have been beaten up. I'd love to go to a noise concert.

  • Is that "just" Yamatsuka Eye or someones else?

  • ',:\

  • I know. Isn't it great?

  • im not ignorant just misinformed. how about

Coprolalia is involuntary swearing or the involuntary utterance of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks. Coprolalia comes from the Greek κόπρος meaning "feces" and λαλία meaning "babbling, meaningless talk", from lalein, "to talk".[1] The term is often used as a clinomorphism, with 'compulsive profanity' inaccurately referred to as being Tourette syndrome.

  • *giggles and applauds* That was great!!!

  • its like listening to a tourettes victim having a orgasm

  • If i read one more ignorant fuck talking about Tourettes as if they know what it is then i'm going to make a long island iced tea out of their blood!!! AAAAGGHHH!!!!
