I feel as though there was no beginning to the universe/consciousness because of the fact that there was noone there to observe it. Therefore it's technically like a line that goes in 2 directions infinitely. There Is no beginning or end. Our minds are just too literal to even grasp that concept.
I can only say that I can not judge whether or not this is true or false. Neither can any of us in the world, simply because we did not make this world, and if we did, logically we would have to have consciousness to build it. But, if we did have consciousness to build it, where did that consciousness come from? Another source of consciousness? The thought that we construct our own world could also be construed as an illusion. If reality is an illusion, each thought within it would be too.

The failure in this idea is the assumption that "conciousness" itself is an atomar element.
Quantum particels are so called "measuered" when they interact with another quantum particle. Consciousness does not matter.
What we call matter has one state because all the particles are interacting all the time. Quamtum theory is hard to understand. Even Einstein did not get it and mixing it with some religious beliefs does not make statement true even if you desperately want it.
@Particlezen consciousness is not a direct link to the uncertainty principle. photons, virtual particles interact with particles-you need to do this to observe something so you can never look at something in a complete void. but same thing is happening to many more particles not being observed-the same thing is happening becuase they aren't in a void. ok its got poetic parallels with solipsism but its not the same and certainly not an observable solipsistic thing..
How I will agree that we mix consciousness too much in quantum theory, do not throw the entire thing out of the window. You still cannot deny how atoms interact with our consciousness and act as if they only exist when we are conscious. I think that still plays a big and pivotal role in our understanding of how the universe works..

Is consciousness seperate from the physical workings of the brain, or is it simply a result of that? Logically, it's just a result of that, and we're doomed to determinism with no free will, no matter what SENSE of free will there is, since the "TRUE PRESENT" is nothing but a fleeting dream.

They got logically defeated by the Prasamghika Madhyamika school...they are even more radical, but difficult to defeat.Finally the only thing that counts is...to rest in the Nature of mind instead of just blablabla...because it can otherwise just waste your lifetime.

I feel as though there was no beginning to the universe/consciousness because of the fact that there was noone there to observe it. Therefore it's technically like a line that goes in 2 directions infinitely. There Is no beginning or end. Our minds are just too literal to even grasp that concept.

I can only say that I can not judge whether or not this is true or false. Neither can any of us in the world, simply because we did not make this world, and if we did, logically we would have to have consciousness to build it. But, if we did have consciousness to build it, where did that consciousness come from? Another source of consciousness? The thought that we construct our own world could also be construed as an illusion. If reality is an illusion, each thought within it would be too.

ok they say if you're not looking at something (atom) it behave certain way, how can you know these details if you're not looking at it. i mean if you're observing it you actually looking at it therefore you can't prove what happen when you don't look at it. cause you cannot describe it's behavior when you're not looking, it's just impossible.it's a rule of the universe to trap us from escaping reality.

The failure in this idea is the assumption that "conciousness" itself is an atomar element.
Quantum particels are so called "measuered" when they interact with another quantum particle. Consciousness does not matter.
What we call matter has one state because all the particles are interacting all the time. Quamtum theory is hard to understand. Even Einstein did not get it and mixing it with some religious beliefs does not make statement true even if you desperately want it.

@Particlezen consciousness is not a direct link to the uncertainty principle. photons, virtual particles interact with particles-you need to do this to observe something so you can never look at something in a complete void. but same thing is happening to many more particles not being observed-the same thing is happening becuase they aren't in a void. ok its got poetic parallels with solipsism but its not the same and certainly not an observable solipsistic thing..

How I will agree that we mix consciousness too much in quantum theory, do not throw the entire thing out of the window. You still cannot deny how atoms interact with our consciousness and act as if they only exist when we are conscious. Descartes wanted to find something he could not deny and is unbreakable. The result was the overused phrase "I think therefore I am", without defining the "I". He has got too much importance, and people always talk about him as a point of reference for everything. But there were and there are a lot of good and better scientists then him. Also, the famous E=MC2 was an idea that Einstein stolen and copied from the Italian physicist Olinto De Pretto. (Like Sheakepeare stole Romeo and Juliet from Luigi da Porto.)

I always find it such an amazing prospect that in fact our reality is simply a dream. The more conscious we are of this the more we have control over our experiences. The one thing I believe gets misrepresented in a lot of our creation processes is. "we don't change the outside world through intention, we change our perception through intention and the "outside dream" changes to our new perception of it.

We are creating what we see and we are. Then there are the story tellers that created a world that benefits them and they indoctrinate us into it at a very young age. We follow the story blindly and help them tell their story.

Think... When you're in a dream you don't realise it's happening but once you encounter things for example that opposes the law of motion then you'll begin to perceive it as an illusion as it is not real. Maybe or maybe not can you be woken up by then. But what if according to postmodernist thinking that there are no "truths" but rather it is subjective ideas based on individuals like Einstein and Newton. What if the light of speed barrier is broken? Would we then be woken up from reality?

Has anybody yet tried to determine the behaviour of electrons from the non-physical side? I saw, someplace, some time ago, a statement that came through a medium from a spirit individual who said electrons in material react in more material ways but in the spirit world, they react more spiritually than materialistically. size is relative! if you was what we call microscopic in size and lived inside the human body and knew no different, you would be forgiven for thinking you was inside a universe of sorts! So as we are made up of quarks and atoms etc maybe everything in the universe/galaxy, what we call planets and stars etc, maybe they are just the rest of the parts that make up a large being. just an idea, maybe what we call planets are nothing more than a type of cell or... and we are just bacteria of a sort!
