  • looks interesting, graphics not so good. i just played dragon age origins and i bought all the expansion packs soon after beat it on hardest difficulty. im new to rpgs but i love that game, anything else out there for me on 360/

  • Music sucks.

  • that black isle intro still give me goosebumps. They could put in the new CoD and I'd buy it

  • I know what can change the nature of a man.

    A re-roll.

  • Skyrim is shit.

  • @spicandspamful compared to this.

  • This game IMO is overrated.

I don't think the players can distinguish between 'setting/atmosphere' with actual 'story'. Game is quite linear except with the dialogue choice and alignment, with weak RPG elements.

You want real good RPG with story? Play VTMB, Deus Ex 2, and Riven. Also, Gabriel's Knight and Longest journey kicks the game's ass. I don't know why these adventure games NEVER show on the list of 'Best Story blah blah' list which is so common these days.

    I had to say it.

  • @Klauspicy The linear type is an actual story, the game was not made in a time were you had a sandbox story , its an actual book with choices.

An the game has tons of text, way more than any other game as its time.

Currently, Deus Ex and such games are fine, but they do not deliver the quality story this game does, especially as the Planescape Universe is very unique.

Def not bad games, but i would not even compare them to Torment.

  • @Klauspicy VTMB is rather linear too when you get down to it. i LOVE that game and DEARLY wish someone would remake it or sequal it IF they do it justice. and Deus Ex 2 doesn't even belong in this conversation. it had an "ok" story but was absolute trash compared to the original deus ex, almost EVERYONE says this, and i agree and have played all 3.

  • @spadehatesscrewtube It's because you didn't chew the storyline of Deus Ex 2, and don't worry. It's not just you, its all the Deus Ex fans. Ok story? IT was really good story about 3 different factions striving for world domination on their own. As Alex, you had choice on taking sides and how you take control of YOUR story. It's not like Deus Ex 1 where everyone tells you to do that and do this and you don't have any freedom of dialogue choice after mid game. Oh, except for the last part of cour

  • @Klauspicy well thats one part where you are most clearly wrong. i "chewed" the storyline enough to join each faction and see each ending because im a curious purist. and theres 4. you left out the omar :)

illuminati, brotherhood/technocore (whatever) and of course jc dentons faction. i personally found jcs ending the most fulfilling. the omars was just .. kinda repulsive to me, as was the hanging alien.

  • @spadehatesscrewtube And I know you will take this rather offensive, but don't say Deus Ex 2 is 'rubbish'. It is in fact MUCH MUCH better than ALOT of REAL TRASH games out there. It is really good interactive fiction and it had much deeper storyline than Deus Ex 1. Think about it. Post-humanism, purity of mankind, aspects of capitalism.. It talks about alot of things and the game's atmosphere was absolutely superb with creepy blue lighting it had throughout the game.

  • @spadehatesscrewtube And I'm really curious. Can you tell me one thing about DX1 that owns DX2 except the skill system? Non linear story? Yeah it WAS in the beginning, but you don't even choose to follow UNATCO. What you do is just lick Paul's ass all along. Atmosphere? Oh please, DX 2 dealt with refugee issues because of the disease, security bots securing the city, realistic organizations with power, and post-humanism. DX1 had cliched AI supercomputer conspiracy theory. Combat? Both are par.

  • @Klauspicy ok, we could probably disagree on this subject till the cows come home. but i *THINK* we can both agree vtmb was and is still awesome. i pray someone either remakes it with a vengeful justice or does an honorable sequal. and, tbh i found invis war first, liked it, then found dx1 and liked that even MORE.

i'll probably stay stuck in that camp bud, sorry. i'm also one of the few who kinda doesn't like dx hr because to me the graphics are rather sub par. then again i didn't pass level 1

  • @spadehatesscrewtube Hmm.. Well you are clearly different from those DX1 fanboys who cry out DX2 is worse than ever and ignoring any furthur comments I post.. Good talking to you bro, and of coure VTMB is an awesome game. If you have seen all the endings and didn't like DX2 more than DX1, then it is matter of taste I guess.

  • @Klauspicy yeah, sorry bro. i think dx1 had waaaayyy more effort put into it. of course it was conspiracy theory heavy, but come on, isn't it true? :p and on the subject of vtmb even sims creators have made videos of it. look up "jeanette sims" good laugh.

  • what can change the nature of a man? ;)

  • One of the best PC games of all time, played it all the way through at least five or six times! This really needs to be made into a book/movie series, as long as nobody butchered it.

  • @slayer1am

There is a book. Search for Planescape Torment on Amazon then look at the results for books.

The game from GOG comes with the book also.

  • I'd hope the music to be better and not just an orchestral rehash.

  • a reason i remember .. to love this game, is the randomness that can happen. For example, i enter an area, a thief pick pockets me, i reach out, grabs his arm, only to accidentally rip it off cuz i had bet everything on strenght, and the poor guy just dies haha. was epic :). Torment was for me one of the most genious games ever made. The Planes setting is superb!

  • You shall meet enemies three...

  • I like his accent which appears rough around the edges and hard hitting.

  • Goosebumpzz.

  • very good!

what i remember the most about PsT was the rich dialogue and the amazing setting.

  • What is this game exactly, and where can I get one of the big titted women in it?

  • @Ladiessurfer217 It's a D&D RPG set in the Planescape setting...which is the most unique setting there is IMO. Explaining it here would be like trying to explain colors to someone who was blind at birth, but basically it's about an immortal who's lost his mortality and has lived thousands of lives, forgetting each one.. With only small clues everywhere as to who he was.. Every time he dies he regenerates and is forced to live another existence until he can figure out a way to die.

  • The discontinuation of the Planescape D&D setting is a crime against humanity!

  • @Iconoclast12100 Also Baldur's Gate

  • black isle + rpg = masterpiece

  • Is this game compatible with Windows 7?

  • @ShrougerNite Yes it is!

  • @ruttobrutto thank you!

  • Stunning trailer. I'm playing this game now for the first time. Great video post.

  • The people who want to play the game one advice. Keep the orb that you get in the beginning, dont sell it dont throw it away. :D

  • I haven't played it and it looks frickin epic

  • I've played almost every rpg, and this has the best story, even better than the book it is based.

  • @ElGuardiandeLunitari Actually, the book is based upon the game, not the other way around.

  • very well put together trailer. i still have to play this game but i cant find it anywhere!

  • @ScreechRocha It's no longer being released due to Interplay no longer owning the liscence and Hasbro/WOTC killing all D&D settings outside of Forgotten Realms and so having no interest in re-releasing it like they do for Baldur's gate and Icewind dale. You can find copies of the European release on Amazon for anywhere from 17 to 50, more if you want the original US release which can fetch up to 100 dollars or you can pick it up digitally and DRM free on Good old games for 10 dollars.

  • only a true gamer can have the patience to play all of the legendary rpgs that black isle worked on.

  • @ChronicStoner777 I agree!

  • Why is this game so good? I could not get out of the fuckin mortuary because everyone attacked me on the 2nd floor so I uninstalled the game.

In Bg I played until the circus but my party consisted a bunch of noobs who always died -> uninstall.

  • @istenemleszopsz try not sucking

  • @istenemleszopsz lol oh wow kids this days...

  • That was fucking radical

  • MultiClass Protagonist , A Skull Fighter , Tiefling Theif , Githzerai Mage/Fighter , Animated Justice Armor and a Succubus Cleric. Simply Awesome

  • @PhotonUponLight yeah, only problem is after a certain point annah will automatically fall in love with you and leave the party unless you boot the succubus priest. i felt all wierd professing my love for the spirit of my dead lover, then romancing annah, then her being all bitchy and breaking up my happy little party. ah well, that priest is overrated in this game anwyays. suprisingly good graphics for the games age though.

  • another very good planescape torment fan trailer:

    watch?v=oDr5zEZ8Ml4

  • I for one a total Black Isle RPG lover, Torment was the first actual RPG I've played and I loved it either way

  • This is the divine comedy of RPG's...

  • I'm glad I focused on Wisdom and Intelligence on my first playthrough. I love how many, potentially-dangerous encounters could be avoided (or manipulated) by use of clever dialogue. Definitely one of my all-time favourites.

  • 1:19 looks like paul phoenix!

  • Has there ever or will there ever be a story and setting as amazing as this? No.

  • Best game i ever played

  • Nice man that was pretty good! Might work on the ending a tad though with the ending of the song, but at least I liked how you included that question in which the game kind of revolved upon. It would have to be one hell of a long movie though. But there is an right type of answer for every question. Let me tell you the answer to the question: What can change the nature of a man? The answer is simply, experience.

  • im pretty sure the voice in the backround is lou tennant

  • @Liam5126

Aye. His name was Tony Jay. One of the greatest voice actors ever.

  • Black isle studio also made Fallout 1 and 2, the best games ive ever played.

  • Wow, i still can't believe you made this trailer by yourself - two thumbs up and a A for awesome man! Are you professional in the field? if not you should consider being, i don't think anyone could have made a better trailer.

This game is so damn good and the story is so rich and captivating that i believe it's ahead of it's time even today, problem is that most gamers are kids - not all of them! but enough are, so that games like this can't really be the success it deserves.

  • Yae, i think it is the mian reason. People like good stories, but not to deep and in Torment was created such. Fighting is... something put in background. And i can't agree that improving character doesn't mean anything. Proper one gives u a lotextra options.

  • very nice trailer you made. blizzard would probably hire you

  • I need to find a mod that lets it run in a higher resolution!! 640x480 JUST WONT DO ANYMORE!!!

  • @CrzyFooL67 There are mods that do that, but higher resolution just tends to make the text and characters really small, that's all.

  • It was certainly a good game. It's hard for me to really put it up against Baldur's Gate though. But yeah. Wizards of the Coast put out the best RPGs ever. Hands down.

  • the trailer does this game no justice.

  • I wish this trailer were longer though :( But its awesome.

  • i cant belive that this songe comes from spiderman 3 soundtrack i mean if you close your eyes and only listen to the music what idea comes to your mind

me i think conan somthing epic and fantasy and not spiderman

  • man i keep watching this trailer once every couple of hours... perfect trailer for the greatest story ever... you know, planescape setting in it self is incredible enough, let alone the torment story.

  • Great job man, fantastic trailer.

  • Great trailer for the greatest rpg ever made!!! It's a shame that this game hadn't the success it deserved. I've played it countless times and every time it still touches my heart.... again: great trailer! Thanks very much! Greetings from Florence, Tuscany.

  • i dont know why ive never played it before.

cant wait untill nov 20th when it ets relesed again

  • it got a re release ?

  • yeah you can get a brand new copy on amazon on for windows xp and vista.

its cheaper then getting it on CD as well.

  • It was more like a good book. 10/10 for first run but it has nearly zero replayability unless many years have passed between playthroughs. Also, the tactics were very elementary. Once you've already seen the storyline and all its concepts about existence, reality, mortality, perception, etc, it becomes unplayable. I'm willing to bet 90% of the people inspired by this video to re-play it never make it out of Sigil this time around.

  • Aw don't be such a downer, bud!

This game was great, and this trailer is good, too!

I'd replay it, but it's just such a complex and lengthy game that it would take too long to finish, and a speed run wouldn't do it justice. So you're right, mostly, but a tad pessimistic.

I'd definitely make a movie about this.

  • i replayed this game right after i finished it the first time. But i used a walkthrough so i would get all the dialog i missed out on the first run through.

  • You're absolutely right about playing this game only once. That's not a bad sign, it's quite the contrary! All great tales can be experienced only once (in a couple of years). Repeating it would ruin the memories - for me at least. Just like I couldn't read LotR like everday e.g.. That's why I thoroughly envy those who haven't played Planescape yet!

  • But tactics, compared to other nowaday's games, were great in my opinion. You could actually think and construct your own special fight out of the scenarios you were put in. It's not like Mass Effect or Dragon Age, which is just running into some foes while always repeating the same pattern.

  • I don't agree. I played it about 5 times, finished it 4. Really different whether you play good/bad and how you treat your companions. And to this day I still haven't done everything I can. Still didn't manage to convince Transcendent One to merge with me, only if I threathen him/kill him. On the first run I did like 50% of the game.

  • the story's arguably the best ever told in a videogame, that's more than enough reason to play the game over. which i have, three times i believe.

replay value is overrated anyway, i still think my first playthrough of the game was one of the most enjoyable i've had in a game, and that is more than enough.

  • I damn near failed my freshmen year of college because of this game. IT was that Awesome couldn't let my mind off of it.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK

Agreed, they first time I played this game was the best gaming experince Ive had so far. Ive replayed it about 3 times also, they were nice but the joy of discovering the story and setting was a bit faded.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK This would've been the best game of all time if they just let you read grace's diary at the end :C

  • @SYST3MSHOCK is the storyline really that good?

Ive played Arcanum of Steamworks and Magic Obscura and several other RPG's... Gabriel Knight 3 and the Longest journey, do any of them stand similar to this?

  • @AvacadoDesperado

played all three of those and loved them, especially the longest journey. however i'd give planescape torment the slight edge due to the epic character development and the excellent twist(s) at the conclusion. the dialogue is just superb throughout and while the actual plot is rather simple in its structure, it allows the writing, the intrigue, the characters and the pure originality of it all to really shine. it's an incredible game.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK That story's epicness is far beyond universe.

  • @meccarian Well yeah, it's set in a multiverse.

  • @Denamic True

  • @SYST3MSHOCK In fact replay value is just important if the game is short.

An allready long game does not need replay value at all.

However, if the game would have been more succesfull (which is a shame) AddOns and more of it could easily extended the value.

For me the overall setting is way more intresting than the classic Baldurs Gate ; but currently we do not get any more of this type of game ; we just get tons of games for the masses ; no real quality games anymore.

  • Its a great game, it has such a superior story.

Its really a shame that its a game not much peops know, mainly because a lot don't like games that are about "that much" story as this one, but everyone that claims that new games don't have story, has to play this one.

And the game experience is something that can really change the "nature of a man" , as funny as this sounds.

  • Wow you did a wonderful job! It's really sad because this game was a great game, and only 2 large handfuls of people got to experience how wonderful this game was. I absolutely loved this game and I wish I had more friends I could share my experiences on this game with. Good job! :D

  • What can change the nature of a man? = Planescape: Torment

  • Oh man, great job.:D

  • Oh gosh, that was awesome. Makes me want to play this game again :D.

  • What to say... I am fan of this game... Played it so many tamies that i cant count... And after watching it i started again ;] Great job

  • learn to spell moron

  • rated A for awesome!

  • The trailer for undying is the best one ever made for a game.

  • охуенно сделано

  • Its shame that the BLACK ISLE STUDIO is gone. That was my favorit game studio next to BLIZZARD and BioWare.

  • Obsedian Studio was made from the downfall of Black Isle. However, due to constant rushing of their games to be released, all the games are always so buggy.

  • I have yet to play one Obsidian game that I didn't think was a disappointment.

  • This or Chrono Trigger...oh they are both so great.

  • the part of "what can change the nature of a man" is awsome,

    nice trailer 5+

  • Hmm, I'll say the voice clips could've sounded better and the generic "requiem for a dream" like song doesnt fit well (actually, terrible choice) with such an original game.

But I'll say the way the video itself was pieced together to match the song, text and audio was brilliantly done. Perticularly him restlessly coming back to life on the mortuary slab and the annah scene put after TNO's damnation.

  • the trailer reminds me of legacy of kain

ah the good old games where every thing was about intellectual plots....

I am getting this game even now it looks good :)

  • I love this game

  • God damn this was a great game. I am going to have to dig this one up again.

  • It's always a problem when you interpret something awesome somehow new. I tend to see different versions of interpretation as bits from different mind of totally different people which may allow you to get a totally different view on something. Interpretations of course never come close to the original thing - that's the law.

  • Couldn't agree more. Personally I find the Torment saga to be the best written plot found in any game and it does indeed deserve better than to be mixed with the masses.

But then, the original trailer wasn't that enticing either. It could've been a lot better than it was and certainly didn't make me want to play the game very much. Glad I did though. ^^

  • Well torment was an existential story, very avante-garde.I liked the original trailer because it was very surreal;i suppose for someone who would like such movies such as I myself the original trailer as more effective. What you have to understand is that this trailer is in the style of crappy 21st century hollywood movies which are not in the style of story-telling that torment isand while the original trailer would be popular i doubt torment would be trying to appeal to the mainstream anyways.

  • I do agree! The original trailer was fullfilled by mysterious atmosphere!

When I saw it, I just wanted to play - 'cause it open a doors to unknown reality. Espacially that you exepriance that reality from a perspective of Nameless.

This trailer is pretty shitty hollywood-like crap.

  • That was FAN flipping TASTIC. I like the "What can change the nature of a man" reference at the end.

  • ...wow. I just heard about this game from a guy on a forum, and looking at this trailer, I now have to get it myself. Great trailer.

  • Eventually try to download it. Its far easier than buying it off ebay.

  • That is the. Best. Game. Ever. Philosophy, man...

  • Really great trailer! But too many spoilers.

  • There only spoilers when you have already played the game, not before you have played the game, and trailers are for people who don't have the game and are trying to persuade them to get it!

  • this game looks great really want to get it but it costs 2 much

  • ...search at isohunt... ;)

  • thanks

  • "What can change the nature of a man?!" *brr ;)

This is the spirit!! Great trailer!! :o

...and of course... until the today's day the best game i've ever played...

...with much art, philosophies and world views...

...thanks for the trailer, very good work! :)

  • I found this game much easier to get into and play than Baldur's gate or Fallout. Felt like this was more of a story and much less fighting compared with Baldur's gate and that suits me well.

  • Actually the fan base, though eclectic, is huge and growing daily. Check out You-tube, anywhere this name appears, 5 stars also appears, even the damn Trailer, heh.

Good luck finding the game retail and E-Bay lowest price is high $50 range and growing last time I checked.

Only game with a comparable "Cult" status I can think of is "Thief".

Black Isle and Looking Glass were indeed special.

  • Morte may be a murderer but i love him

  • It's strange how not many people even know about this game, and many of those who do, and played Diablo, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, never seemed to like this one.. What seperates this game from all others, it's exactly what

Blackhandsaint said - it has a meaning, a purpose, a message. It doesn't have a classical hero who goes out and saves the world by killing evil wizard or something, instead a main character is willing to sacrifice himself for all. That is what a true hero is.

  • Yeah but it is not only sacrifice, because you'll find that in many games to, fallout 3 to mention one. There's an interesting story arch for the main character AND each of the side characters, actual development not just stereotypes. Also, nothing is what you expect, everything is inventive, it's hilarious and disturbing, yet ultimately loving and serious. The game plays like a tribute to the imagination, and that's why it's stuck in my mind.

  • Ha! You can choose to be a villain or a hero, which is something I like in a game. The option to do either good or evil or remain unbiased is what makes a choice a choice.

The main reason why people don't know about this game is because it suffered from a crappy marketing scheme, an obscure setting, and some of the worst box art I have ever seen. My guess as to why people who have played it don't like it is because they are in the new generation of RPG gamers (FF/KoTR fanatics).

  • Maybe the main reason for not having many fans of Torment is that the game isn't much focused on combat, improving your characters (you can't even equip armor in the game!), it's main focus is the story, dialouges, and like Irreducible said - imagination. So it feels more like reading a book than playing a computer game, a fantasy book on which you can influence by yourself.

  • I just found this game, since ive played Fallout and other retro games this looks really interesting. But I must admit the box art is so horribe to look at, so I really think that plays a role in why it didnt get popular.

  • @xtremeunitx And this is what i love in this particular game!

  • @xtremeunitx I know you posted this a year back, but still... Any RPG is supposed to be based on story.

You can take D&D, a traditional RPG game and if all you do is hack at skeletons or other creatures, it becomes a hack'n'slash game rather than a Role Play game.

Without dialogue, you can't play a role. At least imo. For these reasons, any person who claims the amount of dialogue spoils it, are not true RPG fans imo.

  • @xtremeunitx I have no clue why people wouldn't like this game. Those who enjoyed the great storytelling of Fallout 1 and 2 SHOULD love this game.

  • i love the baldurs gate series. but i can never find this game. i had a friend who had it but i didnt know what the fuck it was while playing bg. damn now i cant find it anywhere unless its mad expensive

  • @xtremeunitx Not many intellectual gamers in the world any more. Can you imagine gamers of today loving Railroad Tycoon or Sim City or Falcon 4.0 or strategy games where you actually had to look for resources, research and worry about supply lines, etc? For example how many times have you seen posts saying every isometric CRPG like this is 'Diablo like' and how if you have a first person RPG with swords and magic it's an RPG, but if it's lasers and rifles, it's an RPG-Shooter!

  • @xtremeunitx It's quite different on my side. I just love Plancescape: Torment, but I could never enjoy Baldur's Gate or Diablo. Also, as you noted, the reason why many people don't like the game is because it's more a book than a game. But then again, that's why I love it so much.

Nice trailer, btw. But I would suggest using something sad from the game for the music. But it's just my opinion.

  • @xtremeunitx come on, i agree on the diablo part, not on the fallout or baldurs gate.. they both have a purpose and a message..

  • Excellent video. I would love to see a well-done film/theatre adaptation of this game, though I don't know exactly how it would translate. If I had to name a game as the very best of all time, I would have to say Torment takes the cake. It's the only game I've ever played where there is...meaning. I personally place Torment side by side with my other favorite pieces of classic literature, where it belongs.

  • It's been said before, but I love how this discussion is going on now, so many years after the game came out. One of the best games ever made. I wish I could get a complete collection of all Transcendent One / Tony Jay clips though -- his voice was so awesome.

  • They don't make em like planescape anymore. It's as if streamlining the stories and removing everything truly inventive and creative is part of good marketing. I have my hopes up for Alan Wake, but I'm getting a bit worried that this game will keep my best story badge forever.

  • I agree with you, the last great RPG I played was The Witcher, but nothing is better than Planescape. Developers don't focus on story anymore, its all about repetitive shooters and graphics, and multiplayer. I can't even describe how disappointed I was of Fallout 3, Oblivion , even Mass Effect ( still a great game tho)

If you like RPGs, keep an eye out for Dragon Age, I have high hopes for it, there are a few gameplay vids online.

  • I'm keeping my eyes on DA but I can't imagine that it will break boundaries like they did with BG2 or like BI did with this game. They really went everywhere in the telling with planescape. Today, the more fancy stuff they throw in the more narrow the message, and the more cinematic it gets the more risk aware the designers become about putting in weird and imaginative elements. It's not always like I'm saying, but about the main plots and how they're told I think it's increasingly true.

  • yeah oblivion had great gameplay but shit story (fallout 3 is a little better, but still no memorable characters). mass effect actually had a kick ass story/characters, it just needed to be a lil more than twice as long, and focus less on those pointless side quests on similar looking planets and more on its epic plot. heres hoping bioware can pull through with mass effect 2-3...but yeah planescape and BG were some of the greatest rpg's ever

  • That's because they focused one what an RPG needs.. A story.

In this day and age, everyone wants a sandbox game where they are free to do what they want... In this style an RPG loses its charm.. Regardless of what people want, an RPG NEEDS to be linear, otherwise you lose track of what you're doing, then inevitably the story.

Once you lose track of the story in an RPG, you grow tired... Then it gets shelved.

I say fuck sandbox RPGs, lets get back to the old days.

  • I agree for the most part. rpg's have shitty stories today. and most if not all sandbox rpgs have very few worthwhile characters in the script.

however, i wont completely dismiss the sandbox genre simply cuz they are innovative. its just someone needs to balance freedom with character/story complexity. then i will truly be impressed by the genre

  • Don't get me wrong, I like a good sandbox game, but I don't find RPG AND Sandbox genre's fit together. That's just me, but still :). I find it hard to have a good story when you can do what you want.

It's like in D&D, if you just gave your players free reign, they cause hell, get bored and lose interest. Give them a story to follow and it can keep them enthralled for years.

But I see what you mean, if perfected it COULD have it's moments, just not as a perfect game in my own eyes :).

  • it is hard to have both a great rpg and sandbox game in one. but I think its doable. we just need the right technology and developers to make it possible. for me, oblivion would have been 100 times better if you would have had control of a larger party(each w/ a memorable persona) and a truly fleshed out story/villian.

  • That I agree on, however, I find personally that controls in this day of multiple people seems awkward and klunky. The old style of point and click RPG had it perfect. You select and control each individually.

That's one thing that would make the NWN series a hundred times better. Even the storm of zehir, though closer, doesn't have that same ease of use lol.

  • but who produced planescape? Guido henkel... the same guy who made musics and produced Realms of arkania trilogy and that sure is great plotted game, though very hard but i just love the challange and the system in it :D

  • I think you may be slightly confused as to the origin :). Planescapes: Torment is thusly names because it takes place in the world of Planescape (a campaign setting for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons).

Whilst indeed it is a fantastic game :), I just thought I'd let you know the parts behind it :)

If I misunderstood, please correct me though!

  • huh? XD i mean that i read in wikipedia that planescape and Realms of arkania -trilogy has same producer: guido henkel and they both use D&D based system and and.. hmm... well anyways i might try this game cause of the same producer xD

  • that was epic, nuff said!

  • I totally loved this game when i first played it. I ended up losing the game, couldn't find it. Anyone know if they are re-releasing this game or where to look. seems hard to find or even know where to get a copy.

  • Black Isle ... mega respect

  • the voice of the man who says "u know nothing" sounds a lot like the voice of tony jay, who did the voice acting for an elder god in the soul reaver series. am i wrong or what?

  • Look on Imdb, they list the voice actors for video games as well as movies.

  • He sounds like Lord Xantam from Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance too.

  • This is the best game I've ever played, hands down.

    Awesome vid.

  • That is a beautiful trailer! Warms my heart as a long time fan :)

  • (I comment again )

    Super Trailer !

I finished this best game about 15 times already.

  • AWSOME. I wanna play this again now^^ I totally agree with "I'll wait for you in deaths' hall my love". Seriously, man, add that piece, make a new ver or something... It's so chillingly creepy it's obscene.

  • You made it better than the actual trailer haha xD this games truly deserves it

  • What programes do you use to make a video like that? How do you edit scenes/lay music on them?

  • I use Adobe Premiere, but if you are unfamiliar with that kind of programs, you can for start try to use Windows Movie Maker, you can do everything simple in it, like edit scenes and lay music, Adobe is more for effects and stuff.

  • nice vid, but what's that crap music? I know it's epic and stuff, but horrible in context of the Planescape universe.

    4/5

  • Indeed.

  • I'm afraid I have to completely agree with that, and also give 4/5. I normally like this epic music, but it's not fit for PS:T. You should have used something at least similar to the dark steampunk-like music from the game's video sequences.
