I noticed on Mario's Lava Road, the road texture is the same as the lava rock texture in the Lava Map on the lion MMO, Impressive Title.

@starwolf5051 Wrong, actually. The textures are changed in ONLY your .SZS files inside your MKWii ISO. Which means that because the textures are almost certainly NOT in someone else's ISO, they can't see it. Not even Nintendo could. The only time people are banned for changing a course is if it's a completely new track, so the people online see you driving through walls and in mid-air. They get suspicious, report it and the hacker is banned.

If I wanted to TAS, I wouldn't need to swap textures around, I could just pause the game and reload memory if I made a mistake, heh. But it'd be impossible to create a replay of that, unless it were Time Trial ghosts. Emulators are better for that!

Sadly, that's true, but you know, someone will make one eventually. I'd like to see some Wii TASes in the future, and I'm sure there will be some as well. I'd make some myself, except I really don't have the patience. I don't know how the TASers can sit through making them, heh. Final results of a well-made TAS are always amazing, though.
