I saw the AM stereo transmitter and it looks very nice but outside my price range and I don't need the majority of the features. I can get away with PLL synthesis rather than DDS and don't need an on/off timer.
@bratina501 The AM CQUAM Stereo transmitter is designed based on a DDS & can't be downgraded by replacing the circuiytry to a PLL one! The extra features such as the week/day timer is totally software based and they don't add anything on the total cost of it, as there is no extra eletronic parts needed for them. So cost will not change with a removal of them. However you can find the CQUAM AM Tx unit as a ready made board without the plastic enclosure & keypad special panel for a lower amount
This is a DRM system transmitter. I think at US you use HD and the HD receivers will not decode a DRM signal. However if you want a unit you can find it at Ebay store "aspisys"
Yes we have got a licensed AAC+ with SPARK for Lab testings only! We jhave use it during the development phase of DrMax transmitter, and we also running lab tests for the upcoming complete 100W DRM MW/SW transmitter that will be available soon...
