no offense to this step team.... i love it and i think itz very good and the steps are wonderful...but attitude has to be included and the sharpness....i am in a middle school step team...the step team i am in now was the youth step champions last year.... in my opinion i think it needs a little work but overall i like it! :) peace!

As a drill team commander, I watch this video & think that this team isn't disciplined. No disrespect, but this team lacks attitude, sharpness in steps, & order. It's one thing to learn steps, but it's another to liven them up. This would be cool if performed in a senior citizen facility, but in a competition they would be killed & destroyed!

its in the midd. not great but not bad either its a reunion but your steps are booring and lack attitude and emotion stepping isnt about speed its about percision and togetherness and if you hav people who ar stiff put them on the sides because that is the area of less focus for the majority of formations look at the crowd ur stepping is behind for uur age but ive seen worse and remeber stepping isnt cheerleading u dont have to speach all the time let the crowd listen to the beat

Thanks for your comment Selena. I was on this squad. Graduated in '03. We DID work really hard. Sankofa was created less than 10 yrs ago. There WAS no step team at Williams prior to like '99 and it was a huge accomplishment to get it started at such a tiny school. And most of us had never stepped or even danced before. Cafeagain, I have no idea about iota phi thetas, as we are NOT affiliated with the greek system. Pretenders? no. Just doing our own thing, having fun and making peeps smile.
