  • One day, in this life or in the next, we'll hear this song in the distance and we'll face the greatest decision, between honor and death, or comfort and cowardice. No goodbye is real, for we'll meet there one day.

  • Excellent music and video effects.

  • nice assembly for the battle

    it deserved the effort

    awesome video and song :)

  • makes my warriors soul all warm and fuzzy!

  • I can understand your sadness, but this time it is quite close to music, like it could have been played in the middle ages. The melody fits, the text (although not original) could fit too (thinking on battle reports like Lord Willoughbys coming home), and the rest sounds quite good too compared to cantigas i.e.

  • Amazing!

The original song is called "Quen a omagen da Virgen" from Cantigas de Santa María, a medieval songs compilation by Alfonso X, king of Castile and Leon.

    Thanks for the song.

  • sweet video!!

  • Thanks for the compliment!

  • very funny that a song from the cantigas de santa mria is filled with war-lyrics :-)

  • Hi there,

The reason for writing the war-lyrics on this cantiga is that it is known that this cantiga was oftenly played by the musicians, who were joining the army in those ages, on their way to the battlefield and on the battlefield itself. So by writing this lyric, I wanted to outline the situation in which this melodie was oftenly used.
