  • i can do this with my rottweiler too whats so special with this???

  • @Lefevre1966 Good stuff my friend! Thanks for watching, I am sure every one would be happy to see a video. Please show us all what you can do with your rotti.

  • I know a guy IRL walking dog without lease works verry good . But u can NEVER trust a dog good enough that u should do it in public . Manny odd sitation could happen and even if u know ur dog verry well u can never know how he will react on some sitations

Good work but recomend u not to do it . Specaly 1 meter from the road

  • I though Duke was the other dogs name....LOL

  • Guys thinks he is in a park fucking moron

  • what's with the nightclub music?

  • muito interessante video mostra a amizade do homem com o animal "Rottweiler"

  • Song?

  • a lil dangerous playing frisbee that close to the street dont yah think what happens if the dog misses and it lands in the street and dashes into the road. I realize he's trying to show a point but don't do it at the danger of the cars and dog

  • Great video and awesome work.

  • cool name, reaper!

  • Lol

  • When I read the title Rottweiler unleashed in public I thought of a Rottweiler attacking people lol. Maybe because I was watching K9s take down criminals seconds ago >:D

  • very misleading title indeed!

  • VERY VERY GOOD DOG AND PROPS TO THE TRAINER YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING

  • good dog and owner!!

  • I would of been worried by the chance my dog might get hit by a car.

  • Great Vid I love seeing well trained rotties

  • This would really scare people who are afraid of dogs... it's pretty disruptive to the general public to have an offleash dog running around. Plus bet at least one idiot is going to/has seen this vid, thought it was a good idea and has payed for it in some way. I'm disappointed there isn't even a 'don't try this at home' anywhere in sight.

  • @elliebell2oo lol people need to start looking out for themselves vs. having the rest of the world tell them what to or not to do. if this said "idiot" wanted to try this at home then the "idiot" would and the results would very from person to person. and if someone is an adult they need to learn that they will have good ideas and bad one and they need to learn yo know the difference, not have the world sugar coated so nothing bad happens.

  • @troub1eshooting It matters because a bad idea in this case could very well make a dogs face meet a speeding car. People can make bad decisions for themselves all they want, but it's not okay if their poor animal is the one that pays for it.

  • @elliebell2oo you miss understand. I think the majority of people shouldn't have dogs, but I was speaking in general, but as to this dog...its trained and most people dont understand that because they think that just because their dog can sit after they tell it 1496 times its trained. trained dogs dont diboey because they are focused on the handler and if he was to tell the dog stop or whatever command the dog would listen instantly, but I get where you are comign from.

  • 5:00 LMFAO

  • I cringed every time you threw something toward the road and the dog went after it. I've seen drivers talking on the phone or texting while driving go off the road and hit various things. A small (compared to a car) black and tan dog wouldn't stand a chance.

  • wonder what the leash laws are in that area? and the Jwalking laws?

  • Comment removed

  • oh shit DJ tiesto

  • When I saw the title I thought it was gonna be a rottweiler running around and scaring ppl... :p

  • Not really impressive... My rott could do better obedience than this, without the freesbee and the e-collar!

  • @CaniSport I was always taught that if you had nothing nice to say it is best to say nothing at all. Judging From your comment Im sure you are very confident and your dog must be a nice dog in the sport field. But talk is cheap. why don't you show us a video of your dog in the real world environment with lots of distractions and not in a boring patterned trained sport field just as you say you can do. No rewards and no equipment. I hope to see your video soon. Thanks!

  • @unleashedpotentialK9 Sorry if you feel offended by my comment. I dont think my comment was particularly rude compared to yours! I just expected more from a professional dogtrainer. What I mean is that most rottweilers are easy to control with visible rewards and e-collar - Even for a non pro! (like me, fx.)

  • And just to comment on your assumptions. No, my dog is actually not a particularly good on the sportsfield. And think again if you think there are no distractions at obedience trials. Actually way more than on this video.

All my training is off leash and based on the dogs focus to me. Yes, I will pull out a reward when earned, but hell no will I ever put on a e-collar!!

I guess I could make a video for you, but I would probably be fined for having my dog unleashed in public ;)

  • in public dogs should always be on a leash"only takes 1 time

  • @walkmybud Wish humans, mostly teenagers also had to be in leash, never been attacked by a dog or any animal in my entire life, but been robbed by teenagers several times, most of times I didnt even have anything to steal LOL, jokes on them! :D

But yeah, teenagers should be on leash til they r 18

  • Wrong place for that dog! Stupid owner!

  • Youre are not a responsible dog owner Shame that red 4x4 did not run over your dog That would be a wake up call for you!

  • @1plgear your an idiot. i bring my rottie out all the time on leash and do 10 minutes work with her off leash. Its all about knowing your dogs temprament. I think its gr8 that this guy has his dog trained so well!

  • youv trained your dog well against strangers but on the streets are u mad! take him to a field

  • Irresponsible...as someone who's been caught in the middle of dogfights involving rotts and pits, I will shoot first and not ask any questions later.

  • @toekneeeyeoweme Talk about irresponsibility. you are the last person to talk about that if you shoot first and ask questions later.

  • @tvain86 It's a responsibility to defend my family and myself...in fact, it's the #1 responsibility. This dog should not roaming free. This man is asking for trouble and will probably find it.

  • @toekneeeyeoweme oh yeah of course in this case i would do the same. i thought u meant seeing rottweilers in general. Yeah this is very stupid by the owner. I have a rottie and i would never let him roam around in public. you never know when they switch and besides that they are very heavy and strong and could easily hurt someone by jumping on them even when they want to be friendly. I get your point totally.

  • @tvain86 I respect these animals but one of my dogs (100 lb. Newfoundland mix) was attacked by a pit/rott mix. I had to literally grab this dog by its back legs and twist it like a pretzel (along with kicks and a couple whacks w/ shovel) until it let go but I was bit a few times as was my beagle/cairn mix who was also involved. Scary stuff and the girl who owned the dog had rescued it and had no idea what it was capable of. She was totally unaware of their potential. It scared her worse than me.

  • @toekneeeyeoweme Someone should have kicked the rescue group for giving it to that girl and kicked the girl for "saving" a dog she had know idea about. I love rotts, pits and the like. Powerful breeds are in my opion more fun, but only if you understand the dog, it's strength and put the time into them so that they don't go into prey drive without just cause. im sorry you and your dog where attacked. I assume everything was okay?

  • Well taught dog, I'd love to teach mine like that. :/

  • try to buy a breed of askals..they'r the best dog i've seen..seriously..hehehe

  • Maybe you CAN work your dog off-lead in a busy town; that doesn't mean that it's smart or safe. Maybe you trust that you know the way your dog will act ; but unfortunately we cannot say the same for the world at large. This is showing off at the expense of safety.

  • When I read "Rottweiler unleashed in public" I thought that the video would be about a dog destroying the city or something.

  • haha i know, i pictured like a big green rotti knocking over baby strollers barking at old ladys pregnant mothers and asian store clerks

  • @Ramzteiin you thought like that because you are stupid !

  • gay

  • good porn music lol

  • What's with the porn music...?

  • @wilsontt88 Let's Welcome Bow-Wow to the stage...

  • why camera man and somebody els did not call police.

  • 2:48 dog loves sisha XD

  • Great training. Now if you could get a basset hound to give you this much attention.........lol

  • Comment removed

  • Omg my dog is so lazy!

  • good focus work. too bad about the Doberman tail!

  • @Siriusk9BC not even a doerman lol

  • I'm in love with this dog!!

  • The ignorance of some people astounds me. The Rottweiler was originally bred to herd the cattle to and from the markets in town and as guarding dogs. They excelled in guarding against highwaymen intending to rob and murder their owners on their journeys. Do your research people! P.S. Rottweilers are also known for their extreme loyalty and loving nature.

  • Is it possible to find a puppy that will for CERTAIN make a good guard dog later? I mean, without "luck" alone?

  • @recyclecongress There is no 100% guarantee what the Puppy will be like when aged BUT If you have Proven Parents and do a Temperament test when choosing the Pup and you start training properly the day you get the dog you will most likely have a 95% success rate.

Luck is not knowing the parents, or doing a temp test and just choosing a pup for the looks. Never choose this way.

  • @unleashedpotentialK9 Thanks for the reply, but I have had several dogs in the last 20+ years (mostly Dobermans, German Shepherds) and NONE were the protective, "guard-dog" type. Especially the two German Shepherds I had. One would had been glad to lead a thief to the family jewels. The other was even a Schutzhund III with great bloodline and was the biggest wuss of all. I had a Doberman at one time- but got him as an older dog and wasn't that trainable. Especially in "house-training."

  • @recyclecongress Protection takes proper training even with a good dog. Most Schutzhund dogs are locked in Prey drive and do not take protection serious. It is more of a game and they are focused on equipment. With no bite sleeve to bite the dog most often will not know what to do when in a real situation. They often show aggression but are not truly aggressive. To do civil personal protection you first need a dog with a solid temperament and good social skills.

  • @unleashedpotentialK9 Maybe if I ever get out of renting & actually get a house with LAND, I may get a Rottweiller one day. (That is, if I'm not allergic to their hair like I am Doberman hair). But I do know a little about training, a friend of mine that trains dogs professional taught me how to leash train. Which I used to train the wuss German Shepherd that i mentioned in other post. He was VERY INTELLIGENT and quick to learn, too bad he didn't have a single bad-a$S bone in his body.

  • actually the breed itself is 'mean' as some of you are saying. the rotwieler was bred as a MAN HUNTER

  • My previous two dogs were this well trained. The first one,a Labrador was the best, she never needed a lead, would do the stay command until you were just a speck on the horizon lol and she'd always protect you.Great dog.My new ones a staff and he just won't learn, take him off the lead and he's gone if sees a dog, really thinking of getting a shock collar as a last resort.

  • take the frizbee away

  • this is a great video and you did an INCREDIBLE job training your dog. He listens to every command, still listens as long as you're within eyesight, doesn't get distracted and can go offleash.

I love Rottweilers and you're makin a good name for them,

  • I was hoping to see the dog attack people......

  • @coolsax64 WERE YOU VICTIM OF AN ATTACK?

  • @coolsax64 you should be banned, worthless human being.

  • @Martin040171 after a quick google translate: the point was pretty much to show he had control and could keep the dog from getting distracted.

  • Thats a fine K9

  • very impressive

  • Put your dog on a leash!

  • Very handsome, agile, athletic and obedient American Rottweiler.

  • Wow doesn't even need a leash. Great job in training it!

  • The dog has a shock collar on. That is messed up.

  • wow very nice!

  • golden retrievers are better!!

  • @MissWooHoo1 retrievers suck, german shepards and austrailian shepards kick ass

  • If had a Rottweiler as a guarddog I'd be the safest guy in the world.....

  • Nice training but if I had seen a dog like that with no leash I'd run like hell.... O_O

  • The dog is looking great, strong and very fit.

  • G'boy!!

  • i got a nice little rottie. he is well trained but he's quite small for 1. you can see him on my channel if u want a made a lil vid of him but the quality is terrible =/ tho that dog is amazingly trained.

  • i see...thanks for the advice! i might get one if i can :)

  • Are dogs allowed off leash in America, like in public? Just wondering

  • am i right when i say that you should not play on thar hard floor? always thought its not good for the dogs claws/feet.

  • @Almigurt6 It's not good on their hips because of being a larger breed the chances of hip displacia are higher until they turn 2 after that development of the hips is over they can have them certified @ 2 then it's fine I have a 2 yr old male and 7 month old female I read all the books talk to the breeders often still and have an awesome vet ALL have said the above I'm only saying what I've learned hope it answers your ? :-) sorry if it seems as though I've rambled ...

  • @Almigurt6 He trained the Rottie exellent, but repeated jumping out of vechicle on to asphalt isn't doing the dogs pads on his feet any good, not to mention that the dog can rip a toe nail off from the asphalt, better on the grass where it is softer.

  • What a great little friend he is! I had a chance to train with some MWD while I was in the navy. Some weren't very nice lol, except for their handlers it was almost suicide walking into their cages. But i've always wanted a rotti. They are wonderful dogs, and great for familys.

  • aww i always wanted one there so cute but every one tells me there agressive :( but i really want one they are so adorable! i mean look at em

  • @willow4578 It doesn't matter what type of dog it is. Everyone is very stereotypical about Rots, and Pit's, but they are two of the best dogs you can own, very protective of family members. If you train them to be nice, they will be. My friend has one that is about 170lbs and he's just a big cuddle pup. But if you try and hurt jason, he will tear you a new asshole. So like I said, just have them trained well, if you don't have the knowledge and you'll have a great friend for life! Garunteed!

  • this is the way all dogs should be trained obviously a lot of love and time were spent on this animal and you don't need to be a profetional to do it.

  • now thats responsible dog ownership! respect

  • We called an unleashed dog target practice around here.

  • Idiot. White trash.

  • @savaii77 People like you are the downfall of the human race. Go bury a fucking hole and stay there, no one would ever care.

  • good song

  • i looooove rotties

  • awesome. might b a dangerious dog to everyone else, but it isnt, you can train ANY dog, takes time and effort. like in this video well done pal, its all down to the owner. not the dog, the owner has done excellent .

  • This is AWESOME!!!!

  • sucks my

  • That dog is simply awsome, I need to find the time to trian mine that way when we pick her up.

  • What a great place to train a dog!

    Near a busy highway ...

"Go fetch..and Look out for that Greyhound bus!!"

    Good Boy..!!!

  • whats with the annoying ass music....thought it was a dance vid for a min.... Nice cilp though...

  • @22ashfaq LOL this "annoying" song happens to be one of the most purchased tracks in history. Obviously you have no education when it comes to composing music. This is one of the best scores ever produced. Try educating yourself on music history before you run your uninformed mouth.

  • Traffic is not one of the most purchased tracks in history.

    What made you think that?

  • I'm impressed

  • i have a bad ass rot that was abused when it was young by some assholes and dj tiesto is the shiet.

  • This is my absolute favorite Youtube video regarding this breed. Talk about a properly socialized dog w/zero neuroses in an incredibly busy area.

Off to see if this Duke Ferguson guy has written anything on dog training as he's obviously a wizard with this particular dog.

  • all random but my buick lesabre is in the vid lol

  • ANIMAL VS ANIMAL?????

  • Come to the AKC Meet the Breeds event in NYC this November. You'll see almost all of the registered breeds and notice that while staffordshire terriers, great danes, english mastiffs, italian mastiffs and all kinds of other dogs are being sociable and mugging for pictures with people the Rottweiler's are kept behind a short fence and aren't interested in people besides their owners.

  • These comments are @oiledseabirds btw...I would like to know why you grew such an ignorance for this breed. Not so surprisingly, you even showed a little hatred against your own country which shows quite a bit about who you are as a person. The way you comment so harshly against these so called ''aggressive useless mutts'' who's breed is known to be hard working, you said it yourself, is quiet incredible. Perfect example of discrimination and a bit of retardation at it's best.

  • I agree that ''certain breeds have a high prey drive and dispositions that work well in guarding work''..that doesn't necessarily mean that they're ''thus'' extremely dangerous, you are taking it way out of proportion. You're defining a dog by its breed which is a common mistake. Btw the only ''pissy'' person i see is yourself talking about heavy heavy fees for owning a dog whose breed isn't even known to have given the most bite/attacks on people.

  • Noooo we wouldnt want to acknowledge that certain breeds have a high prey drive and dispositions that work well in guarding work and thus are extremely dangerous would we? That would take away some of our pissy little american freedom wouldnt it. We wouldnt want to be told that we cant do something like own a potentially aggressive useless mutt like this. People that own these dogs should pay heavy heavy fees for licenses. Helps the economy too!

  • @oiledseabirds Haha, You twat, "Useless mutts" These breeds are probably more hard working than you.

  • i love my rottie so much

  • @D3ViLz98 ROTTIE 666:)LUV DOGYS ENJOY

  • at 5:02 is the white car petroll fuel cover did't close :O

  • @HereComesBen I know...I forgot to close it...I do that sometimes.

  • @bbadmike Haha!

  • I'd never run past this dog. I hate Rots. agressive animals.

  • @Mr5eXLove never had one then!! try one before making a remark like that

  • @Mr5eXLove look at your own behaviour before calling them aggressive, you give an aggressive coment to a herding breed that just happens to be good at security if trained for it, would you run past a labrador, they have teeth too and if not raised properly can use them well (as with rottweilers and every other breed of dog). don't blame the breed, blame the owner and the media for giving people like you a bad opinion about these fantastic highly trainable dog's

  • @Mr5eXLove Agressive? huh. I don't think so. Train your Dog good and he won't even think about, to attack someone.

  • @Mr5eXLove I had a rottweiler, sweetest dog in the world, always took care of puppies and little kids. She was always loving to everyone.

  • @Mr5eXLove Bad genetics and poor training make an aggressive dog. The breed itself is not mean. Grow up and read a damn book!

  • the rottweiler seems to love the guy

  • omg i want one of these so bad my dad wont get me one he says if it bites someone were gunna get sued

  • @kidsonthebloke just buy a muzzle and walk him with that so if he tries to bite someone he cant. Save up enough money to get a good bred rottie and you should pay a trainer to do basic control work when the dog is a puppy. Search reputable breeders and backyard breeders you dont want one from a backyard breeder! If you train it right the dog can love people and still protect you when you need it.

  • Fucking creeper

  • ... my pit would be runin around trying to say hi to every body :|

  • Well done...

  • Electric collar or not - this is fucking impressive.

  • this was amazing now i want a rott

  • My rottweiler will do this as long as I have ginger biscuits in my pocket !

  • Anyone else notice the shock collar and the dog is a Current K-9 ???? They Jay Walked Also.

  • @2:00 wtf?? All our Rotts hated teenagers. This is true training.

  • nice vid! music doesn't match though (-;

  • incredible

  • excellente dog.. very nice

  • Comment removed

  • but is he on electric collar, what is the remote for?

  • you should have trained that dog to cross the street and get you a jr bacon cheeseburger from Wendy's

  • 212 people never owned a super cute dog who listened to em ...

  • @tomtom2088 you teach it to listen. With firmness yes but with patience and kindness.

  • Looks fun and cute at first but just wait till he gets runnedover then wat?

  • @Panda1234500 That is why he was training the rott. If he is a good trainer and he seemed like it, especially from the dog response to him, the rott will be fine. You teach them to listen.

  • @rykerstevens Why?

  • And the point was...? I don't think that's such amazing. Normal dog doing normal dog things. Leashes are just because of law. Dogs won't really need them if you bother to treat them like they deserve.

  • @tulipeikko I think the unleash was a metaphor but yes he was making a point where him being of the police, knows the law but also knows how dogs are beautiful animals and need to be treated with respect.

  • @tulipeikko a big point of the video was that he's a professional dog trainer and showing the work he's done. so he took the dog to a place where it could be easily distracted and basically showed how he kept control the entire time

  • @NiteMaire Exactly,that's what i saw ! Hi from NY city !

  • What a beautiful & well trained dog!

  • rottweiler the best!!!

  • WOW this is an amazing dog! I know its not related, just trying to bring attention to this .. Stop animal abuse! ..

  • this is how rotty's shud be

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @Aquarius01271992 JUST SHUT UP AND FUCK YOU

  • @luiskloco Wow...sorry? O_o

  • @luiskloco Whoa. Someone is a little butt hurt today.

  • southerners are so inbred car park is not a park

  • Ha! Unfortunatly I wouldn't be able to do this because if it was off leash stereo types would run away as fast as they could :L (A Lot Of Stereo Types thinking Rottweilers are bad dogs here, When will they learn...)

  • new u would have 4by4 too stereo type ,bet u a builder same old boring thing statues dog 4by4 boring so hard i can handle a big dog and big car all to compensate small ............

  • new u would have 4by4 too stereo type ,bet u a builder same old boring thing statues dog 4by4 boring so hard i can handle a big dog and big car all to compensate small ............
