you don't. you can only get the characters from D/P on via DS Battle Mode.

actually the D/P trainers CAN appear on Pokemon Battle Revolution! If you go to DS Battle Mode on the main menu, the D/P characters and their pokemon will battle!

with control by you of coarse!
