I really enjoyed these tips. I like the idea of having the students bring their supplies to orientation, i think it would be agreat way to get them ready to learn and comfortable on the first day. It would aslo allow more time for classroom procedures on the first day. I would not have thought of making the second phone call but will be sure to try it next year :) Thanks for the tips!

Phone calls ARE important. Very good tips for all teachers. Can't wait to see all the tips.
