If the final score would have been 21-17, your point might have more teeth, but 41-17 is a blowout, not sure cheeting refs helped LSU that much, also, I do believe LSU had 6 penalties in the game compaired to Arkansas' 5.

@petie212 This is the 2009 game when the stopped clock allowed LSU, who had no timeouts, to get the field goal team out to tie it up to send it to overtime. If they call this correctly, Arkansas wins.

Arkansas will be cheated until they are the #1 ranked SEC Team, and then the refs will cheat in the other direction.

It is effectively how the SEC keeps shoveling another school to the championship game each year. Every close matchup between #1 (florida, auburn, alabama, lsu, etc) has some pretty terrible calls, line judgements, and ball placement. It's more than just a happenstance, it's becoming the norm.

At least the Big Ten plays honest games.

Seems like the interception against alabama the year they were champs. Peterson had 2 feet in at the 35 but they overuled it and alabama scored to ho up by like 9 points

As a former HS football referee, I understand your concern on the call, however, in 2011 season, there will be replay tv's in the coaches booth, and coaches can challenge the call where the referee marks the ball. Also, referees are human and make mistakes and the evaluating referee caught that and will mark down the referee and crew who missed the call. I am a Arkansas alumni, and we did beat LSU in 2010. Go Hogs!!

Its a bad call yes but any idea that this lost the game for the Hogs is kinda pointless.

Also stop trying to force your educated guess on as fact. This was just plain idiocy. I didn't watch most of the game, but I seen that LSU player not come within a yard of OB, and the ref still ruled him as such. Thats blatant rigging, and its been happening all season with the HIGHER rated SEC team.

im in lsu fan and i agree, he didnt go out of bounds and the clock should not have stopped. if you watched the lsu/alabama game you can see how the sec rigged it when we definately intercepted it but it was ruled he was not in bounds. just plain terrible to let this keep happening
