You made the best choice. I heard that Madonna's concert was not that great. I went to Donna's concert at the Hollywood Bowl last year and she just did her magic and sang all the songs well. She is a legend and will always be the Queen of Disco. I must add she looks Damn great for 60 years old.

thanks for your kind reply..lol still not convinced tho...ive been dancing to dona on the floor since early 80s then she was classed as disco and disco queen..plus it was dona that started gay hi-n-r-g...now tell an old queen that hi.n.r.g and r£b are the same... shes still singing the same songs the bit i find hard is how can it switch from disco to r&b...i did find a few sites that say 2days r&b is contempery music...ive been trying to find out if dona got any uk plans can you help on that..

i was shocked the othere nite to read on here that a dj..and a few other folk who put her songs on here claims her to be r&b....but am sorry to say but our dona is pure disco...dance...and will always will be...am not too sure what people think r&b is but if you like a bit of a slow smoch dance that was the rythem...and if you liked the likes of bilie holliday then thats the blues..which all of the above is the toal opposite from what they call r&b these days....am confused...xwx

Donna Summer has not done a Disco song since 1978. Remember Disco had changed its identity to dance music around 1982. Just listen to Rihanna, Beyonce's music,,,same stuff but they don't call it Disco anymore. Disco is not so much a musical style, but and period name given to 70's dance music..

Donna's "On the Radio" was her message that she was done with the Jadded Disco era.

She's great. But the thing I always miss in her performances and videos is the lack of coreography and movement. A lot of times she doesn't know what to do with her hands and it gives me the impression that she's tired of singing the same songs over and over again. Her performances would improve with a little bit of coreography.
