Rocky is an underdog/rags to riches story... Raging Bull is about an already professional boxer who is successful in the ring, but is life outside of it is a complete failure.

All this trailer is is fight sequences,the film is so much more than that.Raging Bull is not a sports boxing film like say Rocky is but moreso a portrait of a man who is tortured by demons he cant control and one of his outlets is boxing.

Give me a break... This IS a movie about Jake Lamotta, a professional BOXER first and foremost! And yes, pound for pound, boxing has as much to do with this story as it does in Rocky, whether it be in preparation for the fight or the actual fight itself.

it capture the human spirit in such a brutal,painful, and real way that u cant feel nothing BUT sorry for Jake and his loved ones

maybe a little more constructive criticism. this trailer is too long, and all you've done is stick some fight sequences together. the first rule of the 'hollywood' trailer is to change the look, feel, sound etc. every 5 seconds. short snippets that cover the broad themes of raging bull.

Jake LaMotta was a brilliant fighter, but saying that refs should stop fights sooner is nonsense, proffessional refs stop the fights when they deem necessary and i'm sure that they are far more qualified to make this decision than yourself.

TERRIBLE.....You can't just show fights and call it a trailer...what about the award-winning music? Any acting in this movie? I think DeNiro won the Oscar for a reason, he ACTED in the movie as well. This isn't any good. It wouldn't make me want to watch this fantastic film. Needs more cut-scenes. Nice try.

I agree. People think this was a film about Lamotta's boxing career but in reality it was a film about his Jealousy and anger problems which led to his demise. The film really captures the drama and wrecklesness that took over his life. It's a misconception about the film that's been carried over for years now.
