I stretched my ears from a regular piercing hole to a 12g, which is I know, very stupid. Lol. Anyway, would it heal faster since it's just small?

@YellowDevil04 No it wouldn't, you'll need to get a smaller size, if you want it to retain, I stretched from a normal size to 3mm when I started, and it completely messed my ear up, and it healed completely, so get a smaller size, or put a stud back in while you get smaller sizes :)

Downsizing (for a while) is the most important thing to do - enough so there is no pressure excessive pressure on your lobes, but not too much that your jewellery falls out. I highly recommend Bio Oil as well, I use it myself and it works wonders!

@ImFLxW I gave myself a blowout stretching to 6g too fast. Luckily it was very minor and only half of the piercing blew out. But I went back down to an 8, put my plugs in backwards to push it back in, and let it heal. Now i'm at 4g and it's all healed up. My advice: Wait AT LEAST 2 weeks to stretch. If you feel pain while stretching, take it out, and wait a little bit longer.

They told me this at the piercing place but I ignored them and bleed an awful lot when I put the new size in. :( You can change to another earring of the same size after two weeks though. Stretching doesn't take as long as you'd think so don't rush things. I started at 12g in April and am 4g right now. I will be at 0g next April!
