cool. I mentioned "traditional" because, we can actually use any paradigm we want. If I want to lean right, I can, but if something appeals more to the left, I will do it. Even as Chaos magicians I think deep in our psychology we have leanings to something, whatever it is, even if it's just something that simply works. So if it's not broke, why fix it? Sigil magic is definitely something that works for me,but I have a tendency to over-think everything. Still overcoming my rigid background.

Eache person added a piece, the center was mine, I started with a cross then the runic symbol to the left and over the top and bottom(runbind for abundance n wealth, someone added an infinity symbol to the center, an S to the left made a dollar sign, on the right lower leg a helix type symbol, the middle right lleg is a half a heart that has a tail down with some sort of dollarish squiggle(no clue what thet was), someone added a happy face bottom to be sure twould b hapy $

Wow thanks for the quick response Phil. OK I get the construction since I have created sigils in the past, but I guess my question is - how do you launch a public sigil.? I would like to learn more techniques like different methods of gnosis (the death posture is not for everyone!) Or do you even use traditional methods of gnosis for somethng like a public sigil? Hey, I'm gonna check out "To Hide.." I'm sure you've got some good tips there. Thanks again!

@mensagem25 Well as you can see this was quite a different, not too traditional...unless Chaos Magick has become traditional. We had a candle, incense, salt n water on tabel. The launching-Mentally the image was launched to the ether but then with our Cell phones, we took a pic and sent it to eachother, google images,facebook,youtube and a bunch of random sites all while shouting So Mote it Be! We left behind the orig drawings and drew sigil on the back of the check. This made sense to us.

How do you cast a circle with a houseful of children? For instance I read about a mental way to cast it, have u heard of it? I think it's a wiccan practice? I can find time to do it physically, if you could explain or do a video on the way you physically cast one I would greatly appreciate it. Just for ideas. Thanks. Blessed Be.

@yahissalvation Well yes you can mentally project yourself following all the steps you would to cast the circle but you could just cast the normal way. It's generally accepted that children and small animals can break the boundry without scattering the energy.

I like your style and it is informative.It would be quite tricky looking down as you do at the start whilst explaining how one crosses out duplicate letters.One book which I used to won, and wish I still did, is Basic Sigil magic by Frater U.D I think.It is out of print and not available.I agree with your comments also regarding Phil Hine.He has been into Chaos magick a long time.I met him in the UK in 1989 at a Pagan Festival and he was a fixture even back then-lol.

umm i dont understand what yu did at the begining? crossing out the duplicated letters, and then only used the begining letter of each word? can u explain that

@fangdayoung1 Twould be best not to preface ones statements with "umm". Cross out all duplicate letters and use all remaining letters to become one pattern.

Just want to know what do you mean by circle a system of magic?

or in a another way how do you make open public sigils like your money magnet sigil.

Glad you asked. Circle-A is the tradition of Magick that I started about 10yrs ago, 100s of members around the country, maybe the world. Public Sigil Magick is an unwritten art.

We assembled 13 Witches at a crowded local pub, at a table outside under the Moon. We assembled the Sigil In public, each member adding a mark.

We chanted in odd languages, attracting attention. Had some incense, a candle and an obvious looking bunch of Witches.

Everyone took a pic of finished Sigil with thier camera phone. At a count of three we all raised our phones in cone shape. Sent eachother the pic, while launching it to Google and several Magick sites, Loudly all saying "So Mote it Be!".

And then came the drinking and toasting to our wealth..

Interesting...Sigil mean "manuscript". verb "Sagala" = to note, record.

That is interesting, never looked up the definitions. My technique is mostly based on Chaos Magick.

Phil Hine is probably the best read on Chaos Magick Sigils.

Yes that's one method that's out there not the method I used here but a good adition. It seemed to work for the hebrews..

Before I get smacktalkers. Austin Osman Spare was a student of the Ceremonial systems before his theories lead to sigil Magick. My theory Spares idea is a modern rethinking of Solomons works.
