I saw the DRB live in 1988 in Milwaukee with the Sweethearts of the Rodeo. Great acts both of them. DRB had a nice easy sound; country without being too country, and rock without being too rock. Just DRB and that's it. Hillman was with the Byrds in the 60s. Luv "8 Miles High." DRB's Herb Pedersen was part of the Graham Parsons, Linda Ronstadt, Emmy Lou Harris etc. folk sound of the 60s and 70s and played on many of their albums. I really miss the DRB.

Absolutely one of the best out there, its ashame they dont get the recognition they deserve! this is one of those songs that will always be in my play list forever, it just has that natural ability to grab ahold of you and stay with you throughout the years.

Jay Leno had these guys on one night soon after release. They played "Trouble on the Playground". I'd never heard of the band but I did know of Hillman. Bought the cassette the next day.
