Just recently found out that Eddy (Denis Forest) passed away in '02 from a stroke. Really sad. Never even heard of him until this show, but he had a lot of talent. He was also in 2 other Friday The 13th eps. He is missed.

@chimera1277 I have wondered that too. I suppose the original owners went to Lewis and just asked for an object that would do what they wanted, but how about people who get them afterwards?

I understand its just a plot device, otherwise these stories would be pretty boring. Maybe the objects develop some "psychic" connection that draws certain people or they have a power that changes people to want them. If you think about it, all the stories deal with basic human problems and desires.
