I agree with you to some degree, but that's what all people do. Look at those who all of sudden started to support Manchester City for their stars and Real Madrid for Cristiano, Benzema and Kaka! Although not much was heard from barca from 2001-2003 and Barca won the treble when Ronaldinho moved to Milan. Barca were really good during the 90's

All you have to do is watch Messi in a few games. He does things that other players can only dream about. Ronaldo is a great player, but Messi is so much more complete and more talented in every way. Of course Messi is better because he plays in a great team. That's just logic. Ronaldo would also be better playing in Barcelona. That doesn't mean Messi has to go somewhere else to prove himself, because one of the main reasons why Barcelona is so good is BECAUSE of Messi. He has proven himself.
