No, its correct. See the other footage from the other ship. As said numerous times by numerous people, the Ady Gil may have powered up to get out of the bloody way. Yes it had been harrassing the Japanese whalers, but at the point of the incident, it was sitting in the water virtually motionless, some distance away, and was steered into. They powered up to try to get away, just as you or I would have done in that situation.

Well obviously if you do not document it, they cannot do anything, but if you provide video proof, along with the date, time and location then they can (if you can obtain the boat or trailer's rego number, that can also helpful). You can't just report it without proof; you could be making it up.
The department of fisheries also do routine checks in popular fishing spots. Of course they can't be everywhere at once though!Not every criminal gets caught. That's the same anywhere. Who's life?

If the captain of the ady gil didn't turn the engine on and attempt to reverse, they would have been taken out and killed. Wrong! The antarctic treaty is a hundred years old and includes 12 countries and only Japan has blatantly ignored this treaty. No one supports Japans commercial whaling under the guise of "scientific research".

Unless the Sea Shepards were inducted into the Australian Navy, it is not their place to act against the Japanese even if they were violating their territorial waters
