very nice break,The recovery shot well explained. The last pink wasn't 3/4 more to half I think.Perhaps it the camera's angle. The black to the yellow was fantastic.U should become a professional coach.
@ultimaboomer Hi there & thanks for both taking the time to post a comment, & the kind words. However, I have applied twice to the wpbsa to take their coaching exam , but they have refused to assess me, I can only put this down to me being disabled.
I haven't given up, I still coach plenty, but without the papers I will not be able to take it much further.... cheers K.
@nOPeaxe Hi thereTy, if you look at the cueball & picture a line running down through the middle of it (from top to bottom) by playing on the bottom half of the line the cueball will return on the original path, but by playing left of the line ,it will return to the right, & by playing left it will return to the right of it's original path. Slight adjustments can really help in breakbuilding.
I hope this answers your question, & thanks for taking the time to post it. cheers,Kevin.
@martynroberts1974 Hi there, well we all have an opinion about everything , I know, but I didn't miss , so I will continue playing the way I play. Cheers for the comment though.. K
thanx a lot for the quick reply kevy..:) while i was browsing ur channel.. i came across this video where u show that the side doesnt transfer to the object ball... when i try playing a dead straight ball with side, the object ball gets displaced by an angle and misses the pot... do we have to set an offset angle while aiming the object ball??? thanx in advance..
hey kevy... when u screwed back on a red, u said "notice how i stay low till the cue ball comes to a complete halt." Well, is there any particular reason behind that technique?? what happens if you had just gotten up?? i am an amateur.. sorry if the question was too silly.. awaiting your reply..
@jdprakash89 Hi, there is nothing wrong with asking questions. My answer, If you stay down, you can make sure of your aiming/sighting/address is correct, but if you get up you cannot possibly gain as much information from the stroke. Like, did I cue straight, could I have used less power & many more questions besides. This technique is actually caled "posing on the shot" but as I have explained above, is really used to gain information from every shot played.
hi there, the term you are refering to is called .. "stun-run" this is when you want to play a firm stroke with the cue , but also want the cueball to run on slightly after making contact with an object ball....K
that was brilliant !!! how did you get so good? do u need coaching to get to that level of making such high breaks? because obviously its all about setting urself up for the next shot while potting the current one.
please can you upload more of these videos they really help my game pleas can you do one of these every couple of weeks or so because evey frame is different

Thank you so much for this video, describing how you play each shot really help with my understanding of the game. Looking forward to see more videos from you.
At about 0:58, you use TOP right (2 o'clock) to make the ball come BACKWARDS. I can't tell you how many times I've used BOTTOM right (5 o'clock), striking the ball VERY hard. Thanks for showing me the CORRECT way to get shape!
Hi there, snooker cloth has a nap, this "can" be used in curtain situations to alter the path of the cueball following contact. If you watch the shot at 1.23..
I explain that I'm a little straight on the blue, so I will play the cueball at 4 o'clock striking. checkside in this case it will force the cueball slightly more to the left following contact with the blue, using the nap to control spin, it will guarantee leaving an angle on the next red, without increasing distance on the shot.
well you may not have all the fancy papers but you certainly have the skill and also very nice shot selection which is something that would go nice as some lessons to help people make the right choices of shots.Nice break!
nice break bud check out my 147s if u like
liked the way u explained it

I personally have had no coaching.
(I'm self taught)
but a good coach will always steer you in the right direction, & also should be able to help your all round game too. ....K

hi, why did you use side/english when the cue ball did not hit the cushion. Stun with 4 o`clock, screw with 7? Thanks
