The movie itself does not worry me because the material in it can be debunked by anyone who has more than a middle school level of science education and is willing to take 5 minutes to do some research. What worries me is that so many people have the same misunderstanding of science that is touted in the film. A little research will reveal I am not the only one with this concern.
Another worry: these people are adults who have influence as well! If the guy isn't qualified what in the world is he doing a documentary on something he isn't qualified for? Good grief!I hope he doesn't have a job dealing with science if he isn't qualified.
Because your statement was "Seems his needle is stuck on stein...." yet Stein is mentioned no where in this video which leaves me no choice but to figure out where you are drawing your assumption from. To that end you have been asked a question, clearly stated, multiple times, but yet it seems you are more interested in being a typical youtube troll. As such you may now carry on your nonsense elsewhere, as you will not be doing so here any longer.
the thing is, you can never prove or disprove that we evolved or were created as humans by a deity unless you get in a time machine and watch all of time. this, of course, can never happen.
"the thing is, you can never prove or disprove that we evolved or were created as humans by a deity ...."
One cannot prove rain has ever fallen, is falling, or will fall in the past--- even with a "time machine." Science does not prove anything and it does not try: science DISPROVES, it does not prove.
It is an observed fact that Humans evolved. Proof is not required.
This is just further evidence that these wankers don't care about the scientific method, finding the truth or getting anything right. They have their ideology to flog. The truth be dammed.
You did not have to make a video showing up that the makers of that movie did not know shit about evolution. The simple fact that they would make a movie like that points to the fact that they do not know anything about biology.
you'd think they would've prepared better for what would happen after they released their propaganda video.
of course, they really aren't trying to prove anything, and no matter how well the movie is debunked, their sheep will be babbling on about it for a generation or more.
Wow,funny, sounds like the same answers he gave the SciAm guys.Every time they owned him on a point he was trying to make he retreated into "well I don't know,i'm not a scientist" or something like that even though he's willing to make assertions and put them in the movie. I posted that interview if you havent heard it yet. Oh,and I saw Expelled a few days ago and it was even worse than I thought it was going to be.
Good job - keep posting!

For example, Thunderf00t has gone into detail about the films flawed premise. You will find several such links in the video description.

Where was Stein even mentioned in this video?

"Seems his needle is stuck on stein...."
I watched the video twice; Rev Stein wasn't mentioned in this video. That means *YOU* are "stuck on Stein."

The truth has nothing to fear from free inquiry.

Unfortunately, there are many uneducated people in this world, allowing Mathis to do a lot of damage.

You didn't expect Mark Mathis to be any brighter or better informed than Ben Stein, did you? :-)
How a bunch of ignorant dumb fucks like those guys got it together enough to put a movie together is beyond my comprehension.
