Turkeys are beautiful creatures. People who believe that only dogs and cats can be intelligent creatures worthy of being pets or making connections with humans are just ignorant.
1. If all you've got is a novel/movie reference to try and make a point, then you really need to think about getting a life. Aside form that, your comparison trivializes the character and the stories he was in, which is an insult to the author.
2. If you eat meat, THIS is part of where it comes from so you either deal with it or stop eating meat.
3. Those baby chicks are cute .... until they grow up.

Cute! What is the difference between a "grey" slate turkey and a Blue Slate Turkey? We raise blue slates which are a heritage breed. Our chicks look very similar to this one.
