I dunno why, but int T3 and further, terminators stopped to act like machines.

Machine should not wait to give heroes chance to escape and retaliate, neither they should destroy their ally for no reason.

The essence of "realism" (in a way) was gone.

In T2, T1000 too every chance right away to kill as soon as possible, as did T800. Here, he grabs him and instead of logically killing right away, which he easily could, he throws him away. Heh?

I wanted to see at least two more to complete the new trilogy, but it looks like that will not happen now. They will probably just send another terminator back to kill John Conner AGAIN!

@paulod27 Exactly my view mate. Ever since Kyles flashbacks in T1 i've wanted a movie that depicts the actual war. People moan there was no laser guns? The war didnt last a day as Skynet evolved their Terminators humans evolved their weaponary to take them out, this is the beginning of the resistance & i think its done well. They could so squeeze another trilogy out of it. If any Terminator film was trash it was T3 they basically made it a kiddy friendly sitcom.

@macuser907 this entire movie doesn't make any sense. Why would Kyle Reese be #1 on Skynet's hitlist when it never knew he was Connor's father? Also, in the time the movie's set in, John Connor hasn't become the leader of the Resistance yet, so why is Skynet trying to kill him if he poses no threat to it? Especially since this is not the same Skynet from T1 and T2. This movie acts like Skynet knows Connor's gonna lead the Resistance and send Reese back in time.

I really like this scene, because it perfectly shows that Arnold is all time real terminator. They changed Connor two times, but T-800 HAS to have Arnold's face even if someone else plays him!

But it's wierd that one of the first versions of this terminator (T-800 model) is less efficient (throwing Connor around, giving him chance to escape, while T-800 from the first film would just ram a fist through John, like he did with the punk), but it's skeleton is a lot stronger.
