John Edwards is the only candidate that understands the economic crisis we are in because of the predatory lending practices that most of the major banks have been party to since 1998.
Since 1998 changes in laws and dissolution of lending regulation safe guards have given banks an open invitation to jack your credit card interest rates up to what should be illegal rates.
Vote John Edwards and see those rates return to normal.

Obama...isn't specifically addressing the predatory lending laws that have increased credit card interest rates, student loans and home loans...and has no specific plan to stop the practices.
When Bill was president, Hillary was informed about the predatory lending laws that were bleeding our pocket books and helped inspire legislation that would fight the predators. When she became senator she voted against those same bills that would have fought off the predators.

Iowa is the "whitest" state in the country with only about 2% African Americans. Whites make up about 96% of Iowa's population.
This ad was made specifically for Iowa, too.

I have a fair amount of respect for RP. He and Edwards are similar in that they both have the guts to buck the "politics of parsing" played by their respective party members. But Ron's vision of America looks too much like 19th Cent. America and that wasn't such a great time - no matter how it's romantacised (sp?). John's plans take us forward into the future and contrary to his vision-lacking, corporatist detractors would NOT make America a welfare state OR keep us in debt.

If anyone goes to his website, it's clear he has a vision which he other candidates do not seem to have. He has a vision for alternative energy, health care (not welfare) when the insurance companies tell you "whoops... that's not covered", which they usually do... and he has plans to bring people together, unlike the 2nd coming of the Civil War we've endured for the past 6 years.
