I don't like corporate media, so I don't give them my money. If you have cable tv, ask your provider if you can get your CNN, MSNBC types removed from it.

I think the reason for this is similar to the media's neglect of the AIDS epidemic, which continues to spread and kill millions of people. It's because the situation fails to attract the public's interest. The wholesale slaughter in Iraq has acquired quasi-permanent status, has become something of a cliche. It's not new, so it's not news. And we the people want, first and foremost, to be entertained.
