  • I was doing ok before a casino opened less than an hour from my home. AC was far enough away I could resist the urge. Now I can jump in my car and be at one within the hour. Worst thing that ever happened to me. I am attending my first GA meeting this week. The casino is not to blame I am.

  • It is Nothing more than a Human Falier. It means you are not complitetly finish. You are Not an control of your own human feelings, or emossions. Pateric how you chose to be nothing more part of the system. You have two pills to choose from....and one of them can take you deep, deep and a hole, and I can also tell you; you will NOT find a white rabit in it. NOW CHOOSE

  • i don't think i want to gamble anymore...

  • I go every now and then with some friends to have soe fun. 100$ gambling at most. It isn't a disease, it is an addiction which is pychological.

  • I make sometimes bets on european footballmatches, but a lot of crime is involved. Because many times some things are just not possible. And many players, referees and others are sold, the mafia is betting on them from everywhere

  • lol i about 99% of the money i've ever made was from poker and mma betting, so don't start with these bs.

i know there are plenty of people who lose money, but not everyone does.

i didn't spend thousands of hours for nothing...

  • Gambling is simply the dream of making money for nothing. In reality it's just another form of GREED. These folks have a problem, sure, but to be brutally honest they're just a bunch of greedy fuckers that don't care.

  • @NowKillYourself I think you're right for many people but in the case of compulsive gamblers there are other things involved which are much more complex.

Impulse control, which for most of us, is something with can deal with easily, is 'out of control' for some individuals. Don't be too quick to judge others using your own behaviour as a guideline. We're all wired differently and it only takes a small alteration in the wiring to make a huge difference in behaviour.

  • @mikeklein888 Well stated and very much on point.

  • @NowKillYourself Yes, free money that they didn't have to earn. These casinos are a real racket. They mislead people, making them think it's so easy to win big jackpots but that's where they've got you by the balls. A person may have 1 big win, but then when they lose it all, they gamble even more trying to win the lost money back. A truly vicious circle. Heard a story about a woman who won almost 14 million while gambling and then she lost it all. Then she started stealing.

  • gambling is stupid and it's for suckers. best to stay away from it

  • Its better to just go to the casino and give away your money ! and come back home lol

  • im a student and i still seem to not be able to stop... just thinking of winning my losses back makes me do it.. but i just lose :/

  • @sum4178910 i feel your pain

  • I mean you'll get it back eventually, I've lost about $20k this year in the casino but I know my streak is almost at an end, my luck will change pretty soon, it's just math that demands it.

  • @dannymaclamp umm.. your losing streak is not at an end. If you gamble inside casino's on any game other then poker, then you are expected to lose. Every game is designed to make you lose money, and you will keep losing. I really hope you are just joking with that comment. But if your not you are truly mistaken. Your bad luck will not end!

  • last 4 years loosing, payn back loans , wining loosing it next day ,, dont know how to stop , im stoping every week until the next pay ....(((( and this week lost 500e, just came from bookies empty

  • @pav04 roulette?

  • i just lost 300 dollars.... damn i feel bad :((

  • @Lolbot15 thats nothing when you reach a higher world of gambling.... i remember the first time i gambled i lost 400 bucks or so . Felt so bad , but now losing that is like losing nothing at all ,

  • @andyzpipe i stopped to gamble... rather spend the money on hooker's and Alcohol...

  • so sad u would think adults would have more control of their impulses. I used to be a gambling addict in my younger years but as i matured it wasnt that important to gamble any more is a mugs game when the odds are stacked against you, I would rather invest my money in anything where i know the odds are in my favour.

  • Manofgod...you plus me would be a healthy human being:)

  • What is the music in the background of this video at the beginning? does anyone know? please respond and thank YOU

  • People that say poker isn't gambling are fucking ignorant. Of course it is, it has odds and betting just like roulette, craps, blackjack whatever. Just because some people can make money of it doesn't mean it isn't gambling, there's always a bit of gambling with poker and people can get very addicted to it.

  • @manofgod30 I think that's where the word miser comes from. Character of referance: Scrooge, A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens

  • Gambling has a lot to do with satisfiying ones ego....

  • addiction is a psychological diease, moron!

  • since when poker is gambling ? oO

  • Are all of the people in this documentary slot or video poker players? I've found that the solitude of slots and video poker sucks me in deeper and faster than table games, even though the maximum and minimum bets are smaller. There was an article in the New York Ties that quoted an officer of IGT as stating that the average machine cycle was six seconds.

Slots are killing all other forms of gambling. You don't have the patience for sports betting or blackjack after playing slots.

  • A truly honest and up front documentary with totally open people. Bravo on this presentation. Perhaps it will save many lives.

  • These people are pathetic. Weak body, weak mind, weak willpower. You reap what you sew in this world.

  • @LEV1ATHYN

You are pathetic if you think its not a real problem

  • @LEV1ATHYN it's tough though everyone wants to live the lavish rich life around beautiful people and casinos and just the natural instinct inside us all to stick it to the man and go against authority. it is like a natural drug probably worse than any other drug on the planet....1 trillion the illegal drug business is like 600 Million a year, so it already tops that. Some say it is a harmless vice, I think if you do it responsibly there is really no harm. Just like if you responsibly drink beer.

  • "the best way to make money in a casino is to make losers feel like winners"

  • I could never be a gambler. I'm way to cheap.

  • @kiloebe trust me, if you taste a drip of "easy money", it will change your perspective on how you look at the world

  • @kiloebe you are only cheap because you are not rich...

  • @stealthmummy Table games are taxed at "only" 25%. Such a bargain. There isn't any point in busting out gamblers, but they don't see that.

  • @ripley1423 they just care about the whales and the high rollers.

  • @stealthmummy I haven't got specific stories to tell you, but I can tell you that Pennsylvania is having faster growth in self-exclusion than any other state that offers it. It l\took New Jersey over a decade for 1000 people to sign up Pennsylvania did that in the first year. They also tax gambling at 55% of revenues, so the games have to be a lot worse than the ones in New Jersey (7-8% tax) for the casinos to make their normal profit. after taxes.See Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board website

  • meh...the only reason why i go to the casino is to play 2-5 Poker...with 500$ Alot better feeling taking some 1 else money...then trying to beat the odds against the casino!

  • @icecold40oz You have to win money from the other players faster than you lose it to the rake.

  • There is such a thing as just taking 100$ and having fun with friends.

  • Oh yeah and when you gamble, there's always a house edge, you just can't win in the long run. AND you produce nothing of value - no good or service for society. So stop gambling, you're ruining the economy. Go work or do something productive for yourself or others

  • If you gamble, go twice a year and only play poker. Waste of a life otherwise

  • When it comes to poker its still gambling in my opinion because theres money involved and the cards dont always go your way and theres so many players out thier anyone has a chance to win its ridiculous.

  • it also take out the " risk takers " in your area.

Risk takers who are educated , are important and vital for a country !!!

    but gambling killed these people

  • As long as you can pay ur bills, take care of your family and yourself, gamble all you want.... If you have debt because of gambling then you have a problem. Otherwise lets hit the Casino Jack!

  • Gambling is a psychological disorder = psychological dependency

  • U know why all these people are crying cause they are born losers without plan or system.you can make a hell of alot of money over the long haul playing poker and sportsbetting.bet against the public and play better than your opponents no house edge they only make small percentages esp over computer as compared to live just take players money.these peopl are dipshits like yeah im gonna be a prof slotplayer and scratchoff master lol doesnt exist cause not gonnna win on any consistant basis losers

  • suckers as he lost.....play roulette,,,bet on 5 ,15,18,23 ,36,,,,and start with $100...and after 3 hrs make $1000 ....been doing it for last 2 yrs,,,,,before that working 5 days a week,,,,4k a month,,,,now i work (gamble) for 3 hrs a day.....make 1 k a day....love it,,,,,,told u numbers,,,not in the biz of selling videos or dvd,,,just one rule i donate 10% to deserving home less,,,,god bless any??? feel free to post,,,ill answer

  • @2big4uvegas So you always just bet on those numbers and win? Interesting, im gonna try your numbers next time im in Vegas.

  • @2big4uvegas So your telling me your system beats the house? So if everyone knew about your numbers they could take down casinos??

  • @2big4uvegas my lucky numbers too ;)

  • I go twice a year to Vegas.. but I leave it there. My perfect number is a grand. I usually let it ride on one game or bet.. But win or lose, I give my wife the credit cards, atm, and that's it.. I book my Vegas trip only for one day.. I'll admit, I love the rush.. but I've been doing it for 5 years and never went over a grand.

  • I buy a lotto ticket about once a month. That's it for me. F that!

  • Mobster Meyer Lansky said the only game where the player could win was 21 Black Jack because the player has a 17% chance of winning. All other games are what he called sucker games.

  • I dont believe its a disease though, an addiction yes but not a disease!

  • @planes3333 yea an addiction that can get anyone....try gambling for a little bit and you are going to realize that it triggers something in you like a drop of gas would to an engine...you just lust for more and more and more and more it just consumes you.

  • @zw0ecool

    I dont gamble anymore !!

  • Agreed, more documentaries about gambling would be very helpful. Such a shame to see peoples lives ruined by gambling.

  • @tyranosam

I just lost 150$ cuz of my greed to want more, more, more, its a JOKE! I loved the winning but I dont want to feel like a moron losing $ anymore, people dont do it its addictive!

  • Comment removed

  • @planes3333 why do you think gambling is so addictive?

  • Before you EVER place a bet ask yourself have I got an edge.

If you don't have an edge then NEVER bet.

  • thats a shame :(

  • Thank you for posting, wish more ppl would upload docos such as this!

  • yeah i wish there was more of these documentaries on the reality of gambling...
