@Sidewinder9yeah like i said, im not sure about it. could very well be built for it not that it matters, our cops dont pit here. No real need as we dont have the outcomes you guys do, less violence ect. No not bagging the country or the cops, just different needs ect.

Strange, I expected it to go faster than that. A lot of European and Japanese cars couldn't possibly be intercepted by this (provided we drive stick, of course). I counted seconds, and my Corolla hits 180 kph (113 mph) in 22.8 seconds (that's 185 on the speedo)- 192 metric horses, weighing 1350 kilo's, and here I get 31-32 seconds? Nice sound though.

@redoctober90 100 % right you are. Also very nice is that though my 1.8 might only make it to 150,000 miles, this Crowne just goes on past 500,000 miles, even when poorly maintained. I wish petrol was as cheap here as in the US, I would buy an 'American' in a blink of an eye.

i found with my p71 that if you launch it instead of pinning it from a dead stop it gets to 60 pretty quickly, i had a friend time my car and the best i got was 6.7 secs, god i love these cars

@marshall0792 By "Launch" do you mean power brake to get the RPMS up and then release the brake? If I did that I would be doing a 50 foot burnout even with the TracLoc.

@Carpoof1 I forgot to mention, if you watch my video response to this video, I did a top speed run and the 0-60 was way faster than in this video. It was in the neighborhood of 6.5 seconds I think.

@marshall0792 thats because you are getting your rpm's up to what it take to get your torque converter working good for you.....you torque converter locks at a set rpm and at that point the car will start to move alot better....

@funnycar4000 Yeah, it seems to get a boost there, but right after it shifts into 2nd it seems to bog down, it's something in the computer programming that almost makes it seem like there is a problem but there's really not. It sounds a lot better now, I removed the intake silencer, I'll try to do another video, maybe top speed...

Next time run it with the Overdrive off, those WOT 3-4 Shifts kill the trans in OD

@latemodelmopar93 Probably would have, but 1) My overdrive off button stopped working about a month ago 2) Once you pass 120MPH (In that range I think) the trans will shift to overdrive anyway even if it's turned off so at WOT it doesn't really make a big difference. I do need to look into getting the button fixed so I can pass people without having to worry about the downshift runaway though.

@SMiller5488 Actually the car is quite loud without the rear cats. Any louder and it would be annoying. It just doesn't sound like an '04 with the larger MAF.

Nice acceleration for a Crown Vic....about 8 seconds. I've done just as good in my '03, bone stock ;)
