@silentsteve63 In the Bible one of the names God is referred to is Allah also Emmanuel and the Quaran was created thru the ancestors of Ishmael (which is the nation of Islam) who is the half brother of Isaac. Ishmael is also the first born of Abraham (Abraham being the founder of the Jewish nation) .

@SoundQuestEnt I hate to stir yet another debate, but 'allah' in the Hebrew Bible and language means 'big tree', not God. Allah in Arabic is itself a contraction of two words- Al-ilah, meaning THE God. The Hebrew equivalent is commonly Ha'el, Ha'elohim. El, Eloah and Elohim are words that mean god, and are used for false gods and even angels. Importantly, these are NEVER referred to as names. Whenever God or someone else refers to His Name- it is INVARIABLY followed by JEHOVAH (YAHWEH).
