  • Hmmmm, maybe I should adopt an accent whilst I ride, 2 strokes forever!

  • @Bea7sauRuss Hahaha, 2-strokes rock in any language.

  • 4 strokes sound like old people farting

  • yeah boys push them 4 strokes!!!!

  • @parisTDR250 haha. Everyone talks about the traction of 4-strokes which is obviously true or they wouldn't have the reputation they do. But, the slipperier and more extreme the conditions get, I'd choose a 2-banger any day, because the modern 4-strokes can't sit at a low enough RPM where you need to be if you want to apply a minimum amount of torque to the rear wheel. The 4-strokes have nothing at idle and when they come into the power it is too abrupt, no smoothness off the bottom.

  • @parisTDR250 Hahahahaha! I think all the 2-stroke fans love that bit of commentary. I can't wait to get my beast going again, and try and get some more footage of 2-stroke domination, just so I can yell at them as I go past, "push them 4-strokes boys" :)

  • @ian9toes waiting for another video!!

  • 2 bad they are going 2 stop makeing 2 strokes

  • @samsgina That will never happen, 2-strokes will always be the superior motor for power to weight ratio, and the technology already exists for them to be the superior motor for fuel economy and emisions. In fact the most economical motor in the world is a 2-stroke turbo diesel, a 100 000 horse power ship engine. It is no conicidence they chose a 2-stroke when aiming for efficiency, it has far less moving parts and half as many changes in piston momentum per power stroke. cont...

  • @ian9toes ...cont. The only thing I see ever touching a 2-stroke for efficiency is a rotory motor, which never has to bring a piston to a complete stop and then reverse it's direction. If they could perfect rotaries, they would be far more efficient. But from what I understand they lose efficiency with sealing isues. It seems despite their obvious advantages they can't compete with the sealing of a piston ring against a cylinder wall.

  • @samsgina not in the US buddy

  • 4 strokes are gay

  • Wait so not being bias 2 strokes are more efficient up hill compared to four strokes

  • @AUDIOSLAVE59 Modern 4-strokes can't go near idle without stalling. A 300 2-banger can go right down to near idle and keep going, and it's delivery is super smooth off the bottom. That's why 2-strokes dominate extreme enduros in my opinion. Over the years I've noticed more 300 2-bangers in extreme enduro results than any other bike. The 2011 Erzberg had just 9 finishers they were all 2-strokes, 2 250's and 7 300's.

  • yeah mann two strokes hard

  • I have the same bike I added a couple more teeth to the back sprocket as I rather the torque then the 170km top speed, it's a lethal weapons and already cost me a broken leg, dislocated shoulder and fractures in my t7 and t8, bike worthy of respect! There all dreamers who reckon 450f are better/fasters.

  • haha brilliant!

  • 2 strokes are crazy 4 strokes are lazy

  • @2strokeysmokey89 Yeah? I'm a 2-stroke freak myself, but just go ride a Yamaha WRF-450 and come back trying to say four strokes are lazy.

  • @brapboys503 true man true. 4 strokes are great for wheelies too

  • @2strokeysmokey89 Have a look at a my wheely vid. 2-strokes are ok for wheelies too if you know what you're doing.

  • @2strokeysmokey89 Hell yeah man, but if you know your powerband and bike well enough, you know 2-strokes will pass up 4-strokes even on one wheel.

  • lol hehe,i know wot u mean.wot year is ur 300?

  • @Premixoctane It's an '06 with, a Pro Circuit Platinum 2 pipe, JD jetting kit, a Vortex CDI and ignition switch, and a Scotts steering damper.

  • @ian9toes Nice man,i ride a 01 honda cr250r and its a blast lol.

  • Awesome. 2-strokes rock.

  • @TheOfficialKC The certainly do :)

  • "push them 4 strokes"

  • @impressable :)

  • Love this! :-D

  • @DrFilterfox Cheers mate.

  • how much more fuel efficeint is the bike after jd jetting against the stock jetting?

  • @TheKtm300rider I don't know. It's not something I bother to work out. The bike just runs better with the JD jetting kit. With the stock kit, it was either bogging or pinging, I couldn't find a happy medium. But the JD jetting kit fixed it for me, plus I always run BP ultimate. But as far economy goes, I have no idea.

  • its all about the rider

  • Nice work man, im on the goldy too, keep up the good work and buy a JD Jetting kit!! check out my vids.you might like em mate

  • @chrisking666 Cheers mate. What makes you say buy a JD jetting kit? I already have one, actually I'm on my second kit, because I felt the previous needle must have worn because I was on the top needle clip and felt it could still go leaner. I swear by the JD jetting kits, I'll often suggest them to others as the first mod. I really think you'll appreciate a steering damper though. It's not the cheapest mod, but definitely one of the best.

  • @ian9toes I only said it cos they are THE SHIT, it made a massive difference to my bike, i wouldn't ride without one. I'll get a damper one day, just built a car so kinda throwing money at that at the moment, but soon. Cheers Mate

  • bahahahahahaha love your work
