honestly, nitro is shit. u get a limited amount of time of pure horsepower, valve dropping, piston melting opportunity in order to race some dumb fuck who blows you away in the end cuz you ran out of your special sauce, or turned your heads into molten metal. its great in certain situations but if youre in it for the all out....run turbos. supers are good too but in the end, again, turbos are the real winners overall. well, thats just me tho.

The vette had a completly stock motor (120,000 miles) with a 225 shot of nitrous (125 wet and 100 dry shot) during that run. The T/A had a built 383 and single turbo up front.

I'd like to point out that horsepower is just a man made measurement of power, it is not an actual force. The actual force a motor puts out is called torque and Torque makes horsepower ( Torque x RPM / 5252 = Horsepower)

a stock Corvette wouldn't, but that's about as much horsepower you are going to get out of a supra. There are Corvette's out there that make 2000HP+. Shit, a Viper can be pushed to about 3000HP if you wanted to, and if you had the balls to drive it. If you want to spend that much money into a car to make it fast, start with the right motor. Don't go tuning up a I6 over 1000HP when you could get 1500HP or more out of a V8 for the same money.

@dgk990 one turbo on a viper between 15 to 18 psi usually puts em over a thousand. as far as the i6 goes, i see the point in building one because they have perfect balance and can rev higher with greater reliability so you can hold gears longer.
