hi m8 lust let your dog b a puppy he is only young dnt start hm on the lamp till bout 9 10 months old as u say u want your dog 2 retrieve just gt a ball an throw it bout 5 ft 4 hm bt dnt do it 2 mch coz the dog will gt bord of it wen u gt the ball or dummy of hm make a fuss of hm dnt over do it wn he is still littel dnt think bout putin rabbits in wid hm yt happy huntin

@bummer2k9 m8 just get rabbit skin and rap it on a ball or something and go some were that it can not run away get some treats and keep frowing the rabbit skin and wen it retreves give it a treat and soon a nuf i will learn.

mate, u dont train adog like that. hes not a ferret!.. dogs will chase rabbits naturally given time.. wait until the dog is 9 months old and bring him lamping ( when the moon is down and its windy)... keep the dog on a "Slip" lead and walk as close as you can to a rabbit.. the dog will see it and let him go. (it may take afew times for him to spot the rabbit but once he catches the first thel b no stopping him.... thers no need to "blood " him with a "dropped" rabbit prior to this..

spot on mate. lamping is awesome. my mate has a 21" fawn whippet saluki greyhound its the fastest lurcher about. i dont yet have a lurcher but i arent sure if i should get a patterdale or a lurcher
