Blooper: watch at 0:27 and see the man at the window fall through it. At the right a man is shot (he is falling on some chairs). Watch at 0:32 and the glass is back on again (and the man that went through it is also there)!! The man 'at the right', who was shot 6 seconds before, is standing there again, but gets shot a second time!!!
No honey, they're just shooting guns for the fun of it, over the wedding celebration. Honestly, that was the most stupid comment I've ever heard on a soap opera cliffhanger! LOL but I still love Dynasty, this was one of the best cilffhangers for sure. :)
The best cliffhanger Dynasty ever had. I couldn't wait for the next season to begin. These terrorists should have been called The Gang that couldn't shoot straight. After all that ruckus the only casualties were Lady Ashley (who looked like she was taking a nap), and Luke Fuller who even had time for a corny goodbye scene with Steven, before he expired. Did anyone seriously think Blake, Krystle, or Alexis would suffer any more than a hair out of place? Still it was a lot of fun.
At this point of the series, contract renewals were under way, and some of the cast didn't know if they were coming back in the next season. Meanwhile Joan Collins was in a dispute with the producers regarding a pay rise. Until they upped her salary, she refused to return to the set, which is why Alexis doesn't appear in the first episode of Season six.
Who Shot J.R. From Dallas, was the Top Cliffhanger of alltime! according to the audience size, more mystery. but, this was a good cliffhanger too. I would rate it among the one of the best, but the show did start to fall apart after that season.
Again...the absolute best cliffhanger of all time!! I think it is stupid whenever I hear that "Dynasty" was "too over the top". You silly geese!! That's what a soap is supposed to do!! You can never accuse "Dynasty" of ever being boring like the others were!! And that's for sure!! Experience the power of "Dynasty"!!
Joan Collins always said: After the shooting/Royal Wedding and when they started the Spin-off "The Colby's", Dynasty was falling to down hill!!! I think she's right, because after the "Royal Wedding", every story-line was OVER THE TOP and ALMOST SF.
The first 5 years were great!!! I'm sorry to write, but also the Nielsen Ratings gave that answer... Still a great clip, thanks for posting...
