    Hi

You can put in your house where sunlight is coming or in dry area around heat....but for best result, direct sunshine is must...

  • @chitradi

    Hi

I am on vacation trip at present...and it is summer vacation for my 2 lovely kids so would love to spend some time with them...but will sure try. Enjoy!

  • when i fry its become red which potato ru using ?

  • @starmine7

    HI

I just used whatever I had. For sure they are not special one. Bought from walmart. yellow skin potatoes. Enjoy!

  • These look really good. I love how you microwave them instead of deep frying and they still sound so crunchy - I need to try this - thank you :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy

    Hi

Yes, they do come out as crunchy as fried. I have been roasting papad and khichu papad so far in micro so I thought of trying these kind of chips roasting in micro and it worked. I got so happy when I did first time. It is true that if you deep fry, they are mought melting but when you roast, you have to munch little bit but my kids haven't felt difference, yet so....enjoy!

  • thanks a lott Bhavna

  • @desigujjugirl

    Hi

    You most welcome and enjoy!

  • I never heard of these before, very unusual, looks good!

  • @illustriouschin

    Hi

This recipe is very popular in Maharashtra. Enjoy!

  • Awesome.. Bhavana, reminds me of those days when all neighbours used to get together and make chakri. Can you please show 'Bharela ringana batata nu shak' when you get chance please?

  • @poonamppatel

    Hi

I know how you feel like. I love those memories as well. I have already bharela ringan recipe available on this channel. Enjoy!

  • Thanks for another great recipe. You are very resourceful.

I know I dont have to buy them from India anymore;-)

One question, I got some chakris from the store in India, but no matter how I cook them, they come out chewy & rubbery. What am I doing wrong? I have so many sitting & I hate to throw them.

  • @rrrrr5102006

    HI

May be they are not made right. So better to throw them away with big heart. Or try last time in micro

  • what a funny name lol

  • @AfghanpowerNL

    Hi

    What is so funny!!

  • This is a great recipe, but I will refrain from chilly and microwave.

  • @VaijayantiUSA

    Hi

Yes, you can deep fry then and leave out chili...enjoy!

  • any alternative to rice flour (this would be a good ekadashi recipe)

  • @KsiraChora

    Hi

As I said in recipe, you really don't need to add flour if you steam the potato and sabudan instead of boiling. So basically make moisture free mixture or you can also buy topioca flour at indian grocers. Enjoy!

  • ! Yum all up :o)

  • @ixkey
