Does Tom Rob Smith know you're promoting his work so well? Congrats girl! On a side note: You're way too beautiful! If this were pictures rather than videos, I'd bet it had been photoshoped :) Cheers! :)
@DogEatingHotChips It's a good book but it contains adult themes. I think anyone would enjoy it, but I wouldn't want children reading about such disturbing actions. It takes a certain level of maturity for that.
@Maurits0001 I agree! I walked into a borders and picked it up by random. I didn't even check to see what it was about. I am so glad they had it lying on a table. Child 44 and all the harry potter books are now my all time favorite. I loved the gore, the soviet storyline, and how the author wrote the novel. Even though the outcome was predictable (for me) from the very first chapter, I really enjoyed reading it.
@ohyousexylush21 Do you know when the third book comes out? Very soon I guess? and it's also said that there are plans of making a movie out of this:D
Great book but it's the most graphically violent novel I've ever read in my life. I saw a few 6th grade kids reading it last week. I was pretty upset by that--It's definitely an adult-only read.
Especially for me as a German with Russian ancestors, it's really a book that provokes emotions. I loved reading child 44, can't wait for reading the secret speech!
i loved that book (child 44) and just bought "the secret speech." i thought this was a man's book. im suprised to see a beautiful young lady like yourself to be excited about this book as i am.
was a great book. i haven't had time to read since i started college but this was refreshing after studying every night. it only took about two days to read as well
Have you read Carlos Ruiz Zafon's 'The Shadow of the Wind' (I guess it translates to)?. It was a huge success back in.... 2005 I think. A strong contender for the best book I've ever read. He did write another book that is sort of a prequel for it recently, but I've been unable to find a copy of it YET.
Also, if you like that little touch of politics in it, Gabriel Garcia Marquez' 'The General in His Labyrinth' (1989) and 'War with the Newts' (1936) by Karel Čapek.
aaah ok i did this seriously out of no where total improv im not an expert book reviewer i guess i shouldnt have labeled this book review it was more of a book 'praise'
and i didnt judge it by the author? i found it on barnes and noble recommendations and picked it up because it grabbed my attention, but honestly thanks for the constructive crit.
Hi Amanda, the book's just come out here in Brazil and I've already bought mine. I really enjoeyd your review and I'm excited to start reading the book, I'll probably do it on monday.
Hi, I won't tell you what my name is, but I will tell you that it's not Rich Goren. That would be ludicrous. I just want to say congratulations on all of the success that this video has accrued.
oh i know its not descriptive haha ooook i think its been made clear after having this posted on a website where i wasnt even asked permission and all i got was a bunch of harsh and brutal criticism i should change the title of this to child 44 book praise. i dont know much about reviewing this was my first time and i didnt mean for this video to attract a lot of attention i just supported the wemissreadingrainbow channel =) ill try again maybe

@DogEatingHotChips Because as I said it's the most graphically violent novel I've ever read. If ever there was an adult only book, this is it.

Nadia was Andrei's daughter. Her father wasn't necessarily evil, society made him that way, I think.
