i've heard they changed the day to 1 january. is that true? 'cause i'm planning to go there! please tell me wheres the best place to be at?! (if not everywhere!) and.. which date? january or is it still april?! :D
Sorry, but it's not THE biggest water fight. Myanmar's water festival around April is bigger. They even have these stages all over cities and towns and they use thousands of water pipes and fire hoses. And they even put water pumps on trucks n go around the city. U shud check it out, it's one Big Party time in Myanmar! Lots n lots of people on streets and cars filled with water tanks.
On Monday, April 19, 2010, the Bangkok Post reports that the number of people killed on the roads from Monday to Saturday reached 306 with thousands injured. I'm all for having fun, but 306 lives were snuffed out, while the country is having a party! Why is this? I don't understand...Maybe you could do a follow-up story to explain this phenomenon?
@jnsmeets I think most accidents are from drunk and drive? There are a lot of drinking during this time I think....I'm not sure though...just guessing.

Yes, its nice to see something positive after the weeks of political unrest which seemed to divide the country. This footage reminds me of the Thailand and Thai people that I've know.
