A few months ago HBO ran this stupid "documentary" about the Obama campaign. It may have well been written by the DNC it was so biased. So, I figure, HBO would eventually run something balanced about the other side of the campaign. This morning, I was channel flipping and saw this insipid laughing stock of a "documentary". It's nothing more than uber liberal clap trap and nothing more than mental masturbation for the communist left. I expect nothing less from the daughter of Pelosi. Blech.

There have been/are trials with Social Democracy (which is not communism) and Marxist-Leninism (which is self-admittedly, by Lenin, a form of "state capitalism"). I tried to reply to this earlier and it didn't post. I attended rallies for both candidates. There was a sharp contrast. Obama supporters were, for the most part very positive. At the Palin rally the overwhelming tune was one of hatred and ignorance. People were nasty. Very racist, they were calling Obama a terrorist, monkey stuffed animals....
Not to say that all of the people there were awfull, but it was a shamefull/embarrassing sight. I cannot immagine anyone being proud of the atmosphere.

Being completely honest. I did work for the Obama campaign (as a volunteer), but my comment is also completely honest. Objectively speaking there was such a huge contrast. Obama supporters all stood for something: education, healthcare, the elimination of poverty, civil rights, renewable energies. McCain supporters all stood against Obama or against liberals.
Neither her any "conservative" commentator either. Ron Paul was the only one who says both parties have been wrong.and we need to follow the constution and practise sound economics.

I saw the last part of this documentary on HBO last night and I was shocked. I grew up in Arkansas and my Father/Step Mother were just like them pretty much. Perhaps that is why I haven't been home but once in 14 years. The unbelievable ignorance and fear mongering is just bizarre.What is funny, the only people that actually benefit from the political side of the republcian party are the rich ones. The base is just way to stupid to even know it.
Listening to the folks in Pelosi's film reminded so much of what I had to listen to from my family during the election. Obama is a Muslim; he's not an American citizen; he's the anti-Christ; a communist; the world will end; the sky is falling! It was absolutely nauseating and saddening at the same time. If I were McCain/Palin I would be embarassed & ashamed by my voter base & supporters after seeing this movie. It's 1 thing to respectfully disagree on matters of politically ideology but this documentary revealed the lies, ignorance, insecurity, racism, misogyny & violence of people in the Red States. 1 of my favorite parts of the film is when the black guys in line at the OH soup kitchen stood up & told the McCain campaign volunteer that he was not in their best interests. Why was she shocked?

A lot of what is said by the "hard working" Americans in the documentary are the same words I hear from people in my hard working American West Texas city. I'm surrounded by good, hard working, Christian people who do believe Obama is the worst thing that has happened to America. I tried to reply to this earlier and it didn't post. I attended rallies for both candidates. There was a sharp contrast. Obama supporters were, for the most part very positive. At the Palin rally the overwhelming tune was one of hatred and ignorance. People were nasty. Very racist, they were calling Obama a terrorist, monkey stuffed animals....
Not to say that all of the people there were awfull, but it was a shamefull/embarrassing sight. I cannot immagine anyone being proud of the atmosphere.

Obama supporters all stood for something: education, healthcare, the elimination of poverty, civil rights, renewable energies. McCain supporters all stood against Obama or against liberals.

I saw the last part of this documentary on HBO last night and I was shocked. I grew up in Arkansas and my Father/Step Mother were just like them pretty much. Perhaps that is why I haven't been home but once in 14 years.
