Yes! Why do you think Sony Vegas costs around $60. It is MUCH better and much more powerful than Movie Maker. You can do bluescreen, greenscreen, red screen or you can chose ANY colour for your background using the Eyedropper, so its the EXACT color of your background and not an exact shade of blue or green.

I got it to work...sort of. My room wall is all blue so some of the image was appearing, but, it was not perfect because of the lighting. Try using a wall...and some good lighting, maybe??

nice tutorial, now it's my turn. after 30 seconds you don't need bumber music. that is unless you are making a music video. As such your voice is competing for my attention. So fade out your underscore music after your sign on (ex. I'm collin today we are...) If you choose you can fade back end to signal the end.

I need the xml code for green screen... any ideas? I have a really odd colored sheet and I took a still frame of it so that I could find out its rgb in photoshop but when I enter those in place of the rgb in notepad for the transition it doesn't change anything. Are there any other numbers I need to change? Are the hex codes or some other codes embedded in there as well?

I Think Keylight in After Effects CS3 works more effecient.

You don't have to be a profesional to do that, and the lighting doesn't matters, you can cut that.

I found this very informative. Is it possible to use GREEN screen as well ? I've been experimenting with video for a few months and have Adobe Premire 3.0 and Roxio Video Wave. For some reason, I can't get Video Wave to " render " my file. I make most of my projects with WMM , so I'm glad to see that chroma can be done with this program.

I have been an avid Pinnacle user for years, and I know that there are other editing programs where you can do the same, but I found that with Pinnacle it makes it easier. If your are aiming for making a DVD, with Movie Maker (although it isn't impossible) it is a rather lengthy task of doing so. Good job - I gave you 5 stars.
