I'm pretty sure this is the storm my friend and I were caught in. We'd been playing frisbee in a park in Old Strathcona and the storm hit us in less than a few minutes. We almost got crushed by tree limbs and it was hailing huge stones and the winds were incredibly strong. It was scary as fuck. Much more enjoyable once we managed to get home.

We got this storm in Devon about 45 mins away from Edmonton, there was rain n hail funnel clouds and green clouds, we didnt get the tornado but calmar did, which is 15 mins away from Devon (: loved every minute of it.

There was no sitings that i heard of, and there was nothing on the news about there actually being a tornado. but its all the same anyway. the wind was almost just as destructive...
We were at Capital X when it hit, and As we were leaving, the Wind Knocked a Tree Into a Power Box and it blew up shooting Sparks everywhere. Plus a Big Rock flew into the side of my head hahaha

I had a tree that flew from 2 houses down into my backyard lolz.. But we were safe.

I was over at the Mayfield Inn and the power went out, cars were jumping in the parking lot from the wind, car windows smashed. We left and went toward Westmount and then down over Groat and up to the U of A where there were blackouts and trees laying in the street then to Millwoods where product from Totem Building Supplies was all over 91 st Emergency personnel were out in full force and I had to pull over for them to pass more than once. It's scary and brings back 1987 memories.
My mom was 7 months Pregnant when that Tornado in 87 hit.... my dad told me about all the flooding and damage... im kinda glad i missed that tragedy....
It was scary in 1987 because that was our first tornado and ever since, we all kinda freak when the weather gets bad like it did Saturday Night. It's like we're waiting for the next tornado.
I live on the north side of the bridge downtown, I saw a big flash of lightning, and then all the apartments on the south side of the river went black (lost power)
I just saw a huge black cloud my dad was out side when the wind picked up the furature blue away once the cloud covered my house my power went out I ran down stars it was so scary I didn't get my power back until 9:30 this morning

That was a crazy storm. I live on the Northeast end of the city and it was horrible. Our fence in the backyard got torn down by the wind, the street lights went out. Across the street a homes roof started coming apart. I counted 22 lightning strikes in about 20 seconds...also hail got close to golfball sized.
the CN tower is still up.. drove by it last night, it looked like the first floor after the lobby collapsed, it wasn't the structural part of the building just the bottom exterior.. it looked like just the outside part fell down.. as you could see up into the ceiling and see all the concrete flooring for one of the first floors..
We Lost our Poor CN Tower it crashed down last night and all the windows smashed out in stores and restaurants, and the trees that broke off One busted right on to my brothers SUV, caused alot of damage when it hit the passenger side.. Very Scary Night. Thanks for the footage

I know The storm was really bad, becuase my mom and her friend where driving back home from the north side when i was takeing this video, and they told me that there was a Fence uprooted, there where trees on the road, and brutal hail... i was glad i wasn't in it.....

I was in the West End for this thing...it was incredibly intense. Power kept going out, the sky was BLACK before 10pm...it was ridiculous.
