Let Romney bash McCain, see if I care, I'm voting for Ron Paul. Our military servicemen and women contribute more money in support of Ron Paul's campaign than any other candidate in this election. I believe this support speaks loudly as to who the military would like to have as their next President and Commander in Chief. It's great knowing that I'm supporting our troops when voting for Ron Paul, it brings a whole new meaning to the term "support our troops", together we can stop this war.

1 - If what you say is true, McCain wouldn't be having as much difficulty as he is in convincing the right wing that he's "conservative enough." McCain has disagreed with Bush on dozens if not hundreds of decisions because of his bipartisan outlook, and sometimes on purpose when he could have just said "whatever."

2 - I believe McCain still harbors a deep, if unspoken, dislike of Bush over what happened in South Carolina in 2000. That smear was beyond personal, the Ultimate Bitch-Ass Move on the part of the Bush camp. McCain is stubborn and vengeful enough that - public civility aside - if he were elected he just might personally throw all of Bush's people into the Reflecting Pool. :)

A Romney/Huckabee ticket might be pretty effective mostly because it would pacify the fundies who are wary of a Mormon. As sad as it may be, I think a Romney/Huckabee ticket could be a challenge to Clinton and/or Obama! In either case I won't be voting for any of the above, or McCain for that matter!!!

I saw those videos (just before the michigan caucus)! I sort of laughed... Republicans (and conservatives in general) can get really vicious. I just haven't it seen among themselves in a long time.

Most of my republican friends (college and some younger professionals) told me they voted Mitt because he was born there... and they couldn't stand Mccain. And then, they quoted the ads. So, possibly those ads could be working to Mitt's or Huckabee's advantage.
