Every Sunday during football season, we are told that jesus intervenes to decide the victor of every game. Why is jesus not intervening to save the lives of Africans? I used to not believe in Jesus for who he claimed to be. I was content to sit around and criticize but never took the initiative to look for myself. Do some work, good look at the evidence for both sides. There's a lot of logic in Jesus. I would recommend reading Lee Strobel "The Case for Christ". Whether you believe it or not, it's an interesting book. He was an atheist who worked for the Chicago Tribune I think as an investigative journalist. Decided his life mission was to refute Christ

Not to sound condescending at all but short history lesson. Jesus did exist. That's not disputed right? Well there is a Jewish historian, Josephus, who wrote in the first century. He had no reason to prove or disprove Jesus' claims so his objectivity makes his information useful if you want truth. He called Jesus a teacher and a miracle worker. Since I have limited space, I'll let you look for other secular scholars. Here's my point. People wrote about Jesus outside the New Testament. Go look

There are secular (not religious historians) and even Jewish historians who wrote about Jesus. The bible is not the only source of his existence

It's because Jesus worked miracles, taught the Law and the Prophets with incredible authority and wisdom, forgave men their sins, willingly accepted mockery, beating, and crucifixion, then rose from the dead and went up to Heaven, entrusting his followers to spread the good news all over the world that through simple faith in Jesus' death and rising again, we stand forgiven and loved like sons before the God who made all things!

Your theology is that every human is born a sinner because Adam sinned and we are from the loins of a sinner. However what was Adam born as, (obviously and logically) pure, therefore all his offspring are born pure and inturn they become sinners. Think about this brother and dont be blind and oblivious.
Why is it if Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) is born without a father you take him as Son of God, and Prophet Adam (pbuh) no mother or father but still only a human think!!!

According to the bible children, under certain circumstances are to be fed to wild animals, swallowed by the earth, drowned in water, stabbed with swords, abandoned to follow Jesus, and otherwise generally put to death so I wouldnt rely too much on the bible as a guide on morality in how to treat children. so-called Christians whom cling to the bible and everything in it because they were told that it is the inerrant word of God.

Melissa, firstly, your problem - and that of a lot of my fellow christians - is that you are taking the Bible *literally*. I suggest you read a little from Enoch (it's one of the books that wasn't included in the Bible). The reason Noah was spared was that he was unpolluted *in his generation* - something very odd was going on with the "angels" or extraterrestrials, call them what you will ("sons of god") mixing with the daughters of men.... and that was what had to be stopped at all costs.

Not really - I only do what I do for I consider religion to be burden that affects others in a negative fashion. (Such as LGBT persecution in the name of religion in the islamic nations)
